Nora was born in Granby, Quebec and spent her early years in Montreal and the Eastern Townships. After graduating from McGill University, she taught school in Shawinigan Quebec. Following training with the Red Cross she went to England to serve with the F.A.N.Y.s during World War II. On her return in 1945, she married Robert V. V.

Nicholls. They both enjoyed years of world-wide travel and volunteer community, activities in Montreal and Merrickville, Ontario. Nora predeceased by Robert her husband of sixty-one years in March 2007. Her family celebrate her long and productive life daughters Sally (Ron Wanless) and Eleanor, granddaughters Alexa (Andrew Gibson) and Catherine (Darrin Coleman), great-grandchildren Lachlan and Fraser Gibson, Christopher and Victoria Coleman her sister-in-law Joan Miner, Markham. She was predeceased by her sister Betty and husband Kazek Lubecki and by her brother John Miner.

Helen was born in Kis Rat, Hungary, emigrating to Montreal as a young girl with her parents and four brothers. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony (Tony) and two of her brothers, Frank and Bill. She is survived by her brothers Jerry (Anna) and Bert, her children Viola Jull, Barbara von Karhan and her husband Udo, Dr. Gordon Balazsi and his wife Suzanne, her grandchildren Rob, Karen (Derek), Kris (Dani), Eric (Larissa), Jonathan (Nina), Matthew and Lianne (Jay), and great-grandchildren Astrid, Ophelia, Quintin and Jake. Along with Tony, she will always be remembered for their quest to excel in their catering firm few people knew that she was the "accountant" in the background.

She was an outstanding hostess, and an excellent cook. All of her friends will surely remember the many great parties on Norway Road and at lake Bethlen! All of us basked in her kindness, generosity and enjoyed her wonderful traditional Hungarian feasts. Later in life, she bravely faced many challenges after a disabling accident, with never a complaint. Special thanks to her well-loved caregivers Marika, Julianna and Nellie. She will be sadly missed by all who admired her and know in our hearts that she is now resting in peace.

PETER HENDERSON November 9, 1934 to February 26, 2010 Born in grew up in Sarnia, graduated from Sir George Williams University. Founding member of the Lakeshore Players. After obtaining his Masters degree in Communications at Syracuse University, he settled in Sarnia, where he helped develop the community's cultural scene. Born in Montreal, Ken started his career as a playwright and composer of operas at McGill University. His love of motion pictures led him to become a film editor for CBC TV and Global TV followed by his rise to Director of Development for Telefilm Canada.
