Virginia DeBoe; three daughters, Miss Joyce Deboe, Minneapolis, Mrs. Helen Rogers, Independence, and Mrs. Nancy Beck, Louisville; a grandchild, Belinda Rogers, Independence; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Boisture, Fredonia, and Mrs. Gladys Walker, Lincoln Park, Mich.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Lions Club. Services will be at 2 jn. Tuesday at First Baptist Church here with burial to follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery. Phillip Basinger will officiate. Friends may call at Dunn Mortuary.

Raymond Thompson BENTON, Ky. Raymond Thompson, 80, Benton Rt 2, died at 2:20 a.m.

Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. He was a retired employee of Merit Clothing Co. and a member of Clark's River Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Riley Thompson; a daughter, Mrs.

Boyd (Francette) Whitt, Benton; a sister, Mrs. Lalah McManus, Hickory.1 Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clarks River Baptist Church with Leamon Blalock officiating assisted by the Rev. Gary Frizzell. Burial will be in New Sand Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at Filbeck and, Cann Funeral Home until noon on Tuesday when the body will be taken to the church. Nelle Suess Mrs. Nelle J. Suess, of the Irvin Cobb Apartments, died at 3:50 ij. Sunday at Western Baptist HospitaL She was the widow of H.W.

Suess 'and a Marshall County native. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnston, she was a former operator of the Irvin Cobb Dress Shoppe and a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. Surviving are four nephews, Ed Rothwell, Paducah, Curtis Wallace, Calvert City, Allen Wallace, Lexington, and Billy Wallace, Lexington; three nieces, Mrs.

Willie Truitt, Paducah, Mrs. Helen Bryan, Detroit, and Mrs. Freida Howard, Chicago, 111. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roth Funeral Home with the Rev.

Nowell Bingham officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery. Carrol Johnson PRINCETON, Ky. Carrol Johnson, Princeton Rt 2, died at 10:55 a.m. Sunday at Caldwell County Hospital.

He was 57. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Freda Allen Johnson; a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Boswell, Caldwell County; two grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Johnson and Henry Johnson, both of Princeton; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wimberly and Mrs.

Pearl Thompson, both of Princeton, and Mrs. Evelyn Chubbick, Cadiz. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Home. The Rev.

Wade Cunningham will officiate and burial will be in Providence -Cemetery in Lyon County. Cora Piper MAYFIELD, Ky. Mrs. Cora D. Piper, 91, Farmington Rt.

1, died at her home at 10 p.m. Saturday. She was the widow of Robert A. Piper. Surviving are a son, Henry Piper, Farmington; a brother, Joe E.

Hargrove, Mayfield; five grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Byrn Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Yates will officiate and burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Vernon Young MURRAY, Ky. Services for Vernon Young, 89f of Fern Terrace Lodge, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Max Churchill Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Bagwell will officiate and burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Graves County.

Mr. Young died at 6:30 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. Injuries fatal to Graves boy FANCY FARM, Ky. A three-year-old Graves County boy died Sunday after he was struck by an automobile on Ky. 339, one mile north of Fancy Farm, according to state police.

Investigators said the child, William D. Ellegood, of Fancy Farm Rt. 2, had run across the highway and started back when he was hit at 3:15 p.m. by a car driven by James E. Thompson, 16, of Fancy Farm Rt.

1. Police said no charges were filed in the accident. The boy was taken to the Community Hospital in Mayfield and was transferred to Paducah's Lourdes Hospital where he died at 5:15 p.m., McCracken County I Coroner Jerry Beyer said today Services for young Ellegood will -be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jerome CathoUc Church.

The Rev. Walter Hancock will officiate and burial will be in Fancy Farm Cemetery. He was a member of St. Jerome Church. Surviving are his parents, Mr.

Burnett LOWES, Ky. G.O. (Oscar) Burnett, 95, a resident of the Massac community of McCracken County, died at 5: 15 a.m. Sunday at Life Care Center in Paducah. He was a member of Massac United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rena Walters, Melber, and Mrs. Myrtle Barnhill four sons, Rudy Burnett and Carl Clendon Burnett, both of Paducah, Walton Burnett, Garden City, and Vernice Burnett, Pigeon, Mich. a sister, Mrs. Hattie Reasons, Melber; 18 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owens Chapel Church in Graves County. The Rev. Herman Choate and the Rev. Charles McKenzie will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Roy M. Lowe Funeral Home here. Marcella Crain Mrs. Marcella Crain, 59, of 1017 Starke died at approximately 11 p.m.

Saturday at her home of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to McCracken County Coroner Jerry Beyer. Beyer said be pronounced Mrs. Crain dead at 7:50 a.m. Sunday and the shooting is still under investigation by the coroner's office. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, Jewell Crain; two sons, the Rev. Nelson -Crain, La Center, and Gene Crain, Los Alamos, N.M.; two daughters, Mrs. Judith Burch, Henderson, and Mrs. Louise Daley, Orange Grove, a brother, Johnny Reaves, Paducah; a sister, Mrs. Flora Walker, Paducah; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The body was cremated. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Norton's Childrens Hospital in the name of Jennifer Burch. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 1, died Sunday at Crittenden County Hospital at 9:15 p.m. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wilma Rushing; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Hallum, Crayne, and Mrs; Mary Anderson, Milan, two sons, Homer Rushing, Vallejo, and Eddie Rushing, Smithville, three stepsons, Charles Hiatt, Leavenworth, Donald Hiatt, St. Kitts Island, and Jack Hiatt, Newburgh, two sisters, Mrs.

Dollie Sunderland, Marion, and Mrs. Lennie Wadlington, Marion; a brother, Henry Rushing, Salem; 25 grandchildren, several greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tucker-Gilbert Funeral Home here with the Rev. J.

Howard Clayman and the Rev. Bill Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Dennis Crane Services for Dennis Crane, 27, of 2511 Alabama were at 1 p.m. today at Lindsey Funeral Home. Jim Tibbs officiated and burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Crane's body was recovered from the Ohio River near Oscar in Ballard County at 12:45 p.m.

Saturday. He had been missing from the towboat Louis Igert since April 24. In the obituary published Sunday in The Paducah Sun, a grandmother, Mrs. Anna Wesson of Paducah, was incorrectly identified as a Allen Rice Allen (Sonny) Rice of 2300 Jackson St, died at 7:40 a.m. Sunday, at Lourdes Hospital He was 54 and self-employed.

A former employee of South Central Bell, he was a member of the Moose Lodge. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Roth Funeral Home. Dr. J.

Allen Broyles will officiate. The body will be cremated and the remains taken to Rest Haven Cemetery in Louisville. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Rice, both of Paducah; a son, Sgt.

Jeffrey K. Rice, Ft Bragg, N.C.; three brothers, Robert F. Rice, Paducah, James R. Rice, Murray, and Joe E. Rice, St Johns, New Brunswick, Canada; two grandchildren, Jason and Todd Rice.

James H. Goodner METROPOLIS, HI. James H. Goodner, 83, of the Good Samaritan Nursing Home here, died Saturday at Massac Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m.

Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home here with his son, the Rev. James H. Goodner officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. In addition to his son, Mr.

Goodner is survived by three grandchildren, Miss Terri Goodner, Miss Carol Goodner and Mark Goodner, all of Metropolis; a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Tye, Oklahoma City, four brothers, Oliver Goodner, Oklahoma City, Otis Goodner, Teague, Walter Goodner and William Goodner, both of Los Angeles, Calif Friends may call at -the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. H.A. Flynn, Auburntown, a son, Aubrey Oliver, Hopkinsville; a brother, Josh Cooper, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Lallie Parker, Evansville, 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home.

The Rev. Joe Segree and the Rev. Wayne Glass will officiate and burial will be in East End Cemetery. Mae Hunt BENTON, Ky. Mrs.

Mae Hunt of Benton Rt. 9, died Sunday at Marshall County Hospital. She was 79. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. 1 Margaret York, Benton; three sons, Paul Hunt, Martinsville, Coleman Hunt, Troy, and Naamon Hunt, Benton; a brother, Jewell Gream, Mayfield; 14 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren.

She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Linn Funeral Home here with O.D. McKendree officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Effie McWaters Mrs. Effie Ola McWaters, 99, died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday at Parkview Convalescent Center. A native of Tennessee, she was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, B.W. McWaters, and a daughter, Mrs.

Willmuth Arensberg. Surviving are two sons, James E. McWaters, Paducah, and Kenneth McWaters, New Orleans, three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Metheny, Paducah, Mrs. Easter Downing, Paducah, and Mrs.

Edith Walker, Kevil; 12 grandchildren, 34 greatgrandchildren, 18 great-greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 pjn. Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Denton will officiate and burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Marshall County.

Mildred Duke SMITHLAND, Ky. Mrs. Mildred V. Duke died Sunday morning at her home in LaGrange Park, 111. She was 61 and a former resident of Grand Rivers.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Coleman Duke; a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Kupka, Louisville; a son, Charles C. Duke, Ogden, Utah; three grandchildren; a brother, Ralph B. Marshall, Jackson, a sister, Mrs. India Phillips, Paducah.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home here with the Rev. Charles Beglow officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery in Paducah. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.

Tuesday. Lynnie Matheny Mrs. Lynnie Matheny, 82, of Ledbetter, died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday at Marshall County Hospital. She is survived by a son, Roy-Matheny, Metropolis, a sister, Mrs.

Evelyn Wallis, Ledbetter; a brother, Love Smith, St. Clair Shores, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. She was member of Queen Christiana Court No. 13, Order of Amarantha and the No. 952 Club of the Masonic Lodge in Ledbetter.

She was a member of the Christian church. There will be no visitation. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to any charity. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Livingston County.

today at Tucker-Gilbert Funeral Home here. The Rev. George Phillips officiated and burial was in Hurricane Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor died Saturday at her home.

She was a member of Tolu United Methodist Church. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Bramlett, Fayetteville, Mrs. Irene Williams, Eldorado, 111., and Mrs. Ora Fisher, Shawneetown, four grandchildren.
