A plain clothes man from police headquarters attempted to quelf the resultant disturbance. He was struck by a student priest, Dr. Staten has been told, and the plain clothes man got his gun and struck the student priest, it was reported.

No case was made against either when the officer took the student priest to judge court. thought the officer was in the right, and nothing was done about mayor Davis said when asked about the fracas. Mayor Explains. have been near riots in the lower part of town over the fight between the Catholics and the explained the mayor. has been the practice to distribute these papers or circulars among members of opposing congregations in front of or near the churches of the other factions.
