Of Beaconsfield, passed away after a brief, unexpected and courageous battle with cancer on August 18, 1999 at the age of seventy-five. As a civil engineer he was involved in a variety of projects both in Canada and overseas. He was an active member and the president of the Catharine Traill Naturalists.
