Curt Moldrup said this morning that Wednesday night's storm roared its way from the southwest to northeast of Manhattan, with significant damage as follows: In the Eureka Drive area near Manhattan Regional Airport, homes, trailers, vehicles and power lines were damaged or down. In the Miller Ranch subdivision, more than 30 houses were leveled and numerous sustained serious damage. In the area of Dartmouth Road and E.J. Frick Drive, about 20 homes were seriously damaged.

At the intersection of Seth Child Road and Amherst Avenue, the True Value Hardware Building was reduced to a pile of rubble, and Little Apple ToyotaHonda had overturned vehicles and extensive glass damage.
