D. MINERD To the Voters of Conneltsville: In 1929 you elected DAN MINERD your first Democratic Mayor in years. That he fulfilled your trust and confidence by giving you a faithful, honest, efficient and economical administration is best attested to by your reception of his candidacy when he sought reelection. The increased majority he received at the polls four years later was a community endorsement of his policies. Four years ago when DAN MINERD was a candidate for County Treasurer you were mindful of his unstinted devotion to his duties and pa fine tribute at the polis at both primary and municipal elections.

You are aware that during his term as County Treasurer DAN MINERD did not cause one single property to be sold or sacrificed for non-payment of taxes during these times of privation; that he made regular payments of returned tax collections to the councils, school boards and supervisor boards of the county, and that he established a simplified filing and index system for delinquent tax records in his office. Today DAN MINERD is a candidate for Sheriff on the Democratic ticket. He pledges to continue in the office of Sheriff the same policy of honest, efficient, economical, fair and impartial administration he exercised in the office of County Treasurer and Mayor of Connellsville. DAN MINERD is a Connellsvillian at heart as his record as Mayor bears out. His interest in the city is not limited to its potential vote strength.

When elected County Treasurer, he continued his residence "here and has no intention of moving. DAN MINERD is the only Connellsville man on the ticket for Sheriff. Let's be loya) citizens and give our'fellow Connellsvillian a decisive plurality at Tuesday's Primary. Let's all vote for DAN Ml NERD for Sheriff. fPol.
