Sullivan either save their first TV exposure, or important show casing, to such current stars as Victor Borge, Barbara Streis and, Robert Goulet, Will Jordan and. Eddie Fisher. Elvis Presley already wasl establishing himself as an Insti tution when Sullivan signed him on the. rebound from an NBC contract. "Swivel H'Ps" was paid $50,000 for three appearances a record fee for the Sullivan program Sullivan frequently makes scouting expeditions, both at' home and abroad.
