TV's famous parents, Ozzie and Harriet, off the network schedules for six years, return tonight with a series pilot. Puttering around the old premises, the Nelsons find life too tame without sons David and Ricky, and decide to rent rooms to a college coed'. Telephone mixups provide the story content, and the couple end up renting rooms to two students--one black and one white. 8:30 p.m. NBC. QO CD IB Q3 · LEONARDO DA VINCI. No. 5. Complicated, complex and highly absorbing hour brings to a close this Italian- made dramatization of the life of Leonardo da Vinci, a genius so far beyond his Ume that he had to fight for permission to work on some of his projects. In fact, his requests for materials workmen did not understand actually brought accusations of sorcery. Although much of the hour reflects on his peaceful last years, thanks to the good offices of the French regent and the French King Francis I. other scenes are disturbing and touching, particularly bureaucratic indifference to his rights to an inheritance from his Uncle Francesco. 9 p.m. CBS. Q O *· SPECIAL. "Liza with a 2." This is an eye-popper---a dazzling concert filmed in a Broadway theater before a responsive crowd. Munro, off as his prisoner, knowing toat the dark daughter, Cora, whom be wants as one of his wives, will follow. 9 p.m. ETV. Q »* SPECIAL. "A Salute to Television's 25th Anniversary." TV's superstars Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Milton Berle, Ed Sullivan, Sid Ceasar, are honored by the likes of John Wayne and George C. Scott in a 90-minute hour of nostalgia. While stars flood the scene presenting and accepting meda- lions, the real fun comes from clips out of the past, assembled by Jackie Cooper. Jackie missed out on Jack Parr, "Wagon Train," and Red Skelton, but he has an impressive s e l e c t i o n on hand 1 . As for the musical scene, there's Jimmy Durante, Snooky Lanson, and Giselle MacKenzie, to recreate such winners as "September Song" and "Shrimp Boats." 9:30 p.m. ABC.
