Sunday in t\ Pholo Essaj' by Fei One of (he bonuses of being a West Virginian is that somewhere near there is a secluded glen, a tranquil park, a bubbling stream, or a cathedral aisle through the forest. These are places of peace, refuges from the turmoil of daily living, the clatter and din of living in a city. You need no plan, no program for such an outing. You can take a pole and dangle a hook in the water. You can pack a light lunch or a belt-shrinking meal. Or you can go and just sit, or stretch out in the autumnal sun. Whatever you do. you will return refreshed. These photos were taken at Audra State Park in Upshur County.
