Sunday in t\ Pholo Essaj' by Fei One of (he bonuses of being a West Virginian is that somewhere near there is a secluded glen, a tranquil park, a bubbling stream, or a cathedral aisle through the forest. These are places of peace, refuges from the turmoil of daily living, the clatter and din of living in a city. You need no plan, no program for such an outing. You can take a pole and dangle a hook in the water. You can pack a light lunch or a belt-shrinking meal. Or you can go and just sit, or stretch out in the autumnal sun.
