JPAGE 3KV\ Improving Last Stretch Of Farmlngton Highway In Ohiopyie V i c i n i t y OHIOPYLE, Mar. 10.--Good pro- Krcsa is reported on improvement of the stretch of highway connecting with the road at Meadow Run bridge and leading into the borough. A new baso of crushed stone has been laid down, preparatory to placing n coat- Ing of asphalt surface. This section of road has long been dreaded by motorists and its completion should offer them the final link of an improved highway from Connellsvills to Farmington. Work is expected to be completed in the near future so that it will be ready for tho heavy traffic this summer. Second Child In Family. Mr. and Mrs. Nelll H. Morris are the proud parents of a daughter, named Elizabeth Ann, born at FranU Hospital at Confluence Saturday morning. Both mother and daughter are doing nicely. The family now consists of a boy and girl. TJho grandfather, Hervey Morris, tax collector for Stewart township is wearing a big smile. ., Kcntuck Residents HI. Miss Ruth Cunningham, who has been at Frantz Hospital, Confluence, during the winter, came home Monday to assist her mother, Mrs. Robert Cunningham, who Is ill. Mr. Reed is survived by his wife, Cnrrle Elizabeth; four sons, Samuel W., William W., Stoner R. and Robert J.; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Vance and Mrs. Ella Griffin; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will ba held Friday ·fternoon. There will bo a prayer at the home at 1 'o'clock followed by additional rites at the West Lelscn- ring Presbyterian Church at 2 o'clock. Rev. Miller of Scottdale visited Mr. Miller's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Miller, Friday. Mrs, Mary Miner and daughter, Eleanor, visited Mr. and Mrs. James Luckcy of Conncllsvillo Thursday. Miss Mary Bungard of Indian Head spont several days with her sister, Mrs. Fay Henderson, of this place. Samu:l Steele was In Connellsvillo on business Friday.
