18 1976 Sunda Chvlejton. West Vlrjinii Beverly Diane Williams t Marries Richard Spencer MRS. RICHARD DAVID SPENCER ...former Beverly Diane Williams Miss Beverly Diane Williams, daughter of Mrs. G. Hobart Williams of Dunbar and the late Mr. Williams, became the bride of Richard David Spencer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard 0. Spencer, also of Dunbar, Saturday in Humphreys Memorial United Methodist Church. The Rev. Cecil S. McMillion officiated and music was provided by Don Parsons and Ted Loudermilk. The bride was given in marriage by A. J. Schipper. Mrs. Barbara Carpenter was matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Mrs. Nell Howery of Louisville, Ky., and Miss Jayne Hall of Winchester, Ky. Don Spencer , brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were A. D. Carpenter, the bride's brother- in-law, and Steve Merrifield, uncle of the bridegroom. Following a reception at the church, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains. They will live at 858 Hudson St., St. Albans. Mrs. Spencer is a graduate of Dunbar High School and has a B. A. degree in special education from the University of Kentucky. She is employed by the Jackson County Board of Education. Her husband graduated from Dunbar High School and has a B. A. degree in political science from West Virginia State College. He is employed by Union Carbide Corp. Miss Jean Ann Edwards Bride of Danny M.Murphy MRS. DANNY MARSHELL MURPHY ...former Jean Ann Edwards Miss Jean Ann Edwards, daughter of Mrs. Leah B. Edwards of South Charleston and the late Mr. William R. Edwards, became the bride of Danny Marshall Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Webber Murphy of Ellisville, Miss., at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist Church of South Charleston. The Rev. E. Wendell Eskew officiated and music was provided by Mrs. Thelma Castleberry and Jonathan Cavendish. The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, James C. O'Dell. Her sister, Mrs. Elinor O'Dell of Beckley. was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Barbara Hatcher of Fayetteville and Miss A. Nadine Morse and Mrs. Denise E. Jones of Dover, Del. Miss Debra Lynn Higginbotham Bride of Thomas 0. Meadows S. Mitchell Murphy of Ellisville, Miss., was best man for his brother and ushers were Webber P. Murphy of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Charles M. Murphy of Ellisville, brothers of the bridegroom, and David E. Jones of Dover. Following a reception at the church, the couple left for a-wedding trip to San Juan, P. R. They will live at 74 Par Haven Dr., Apt. HH-21, Dover, Del. Mrs. Murphy is a graduate of South Charleston High School and West Virginia University. She is a graduate student at the University of Delaware and she teaches second grade at Caesar Rodney School District in Dover. She is a member of Kappa Phi, Community Singers, Inc., NEA.DSEAandCREA. Her husband is a graduate of South Jones High School in Ellisville and attended Vanderbilt University. He is a computer operator in the Air Force stationed at Andrews AFB, Md. Miss Debra Lynn Higginbotham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl 0. Higginbotham of Hurricane, became the bride of Thomas Owen Meadows, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer 0. Meadows of Culloden, Saturday in the Teays Valley Missionary Church. The Rev. Omar P. Rucker officiated. Music was provided by Harvey Higginbotham. uncle of the bride, soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Dianne Gibson, organist. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Susan Doak served as maid of honor. Pamela Beckett. Kimberly Racer and Mrs. Teresa Fisher, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Patricia Hill, another cousin, was junior bridesmaid, and Lisa Higginbotham, also a cousin, and Julie Meadows, sister of the bridegroom, were flowergirls. Michael Games served as best man. David Higginbotham, brother of the bride, Roger Conner and Joseph Fisher were ushers. Steven Hill, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer. Following a reception at the Scott Depot Woman's Club, the couple left on a wedding trip to King's Island, Cincinnati, Ohio. They will reside at 1026 Smith St.. Milton. MRS. T.O. MEADOWS ...former Debra Lynn Higginbotham Mr. and Mrs. Meadows are graduates of Hurricane High School.
