The bride's nephew. Gabriel Pearce Godwin, was ringbearer. Following a garden reception, the couple left for a wedding trip to New Orleans. La. They will live in Denver. Colo. Mrs. Kirkpatrick attended Southwestern College in Memphis. Tenn . and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and the Debutante Club of Mississippi and is presently teaching school in Denver Her husband graduated from George Washington High School and from Princeton University, where he was vice president of the Princeton Charter Club He is a systems analyst for the city government in Denver Lissa Mohler Is Bride Of Clarence B. Brooks Marriage vows were exchanged Saturday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church by Miss June Marie Moody, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Moody Jr. of South Charleston, and Gary Douglas Brooks, son of Mrs. Thelma Brooks of Monaville. Enydyetnent Told \Veaks-Clayman Planning a Sept. 20 wedding at Swampscott, Mass., are Phyllis Vance Weaks and Dr. David A. dayman. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Vance of Rt. 6, and his parents are Mr. and Mrs. George dayman of Swampscott. The bride-elect is employed by the Charleston Area Medical Center credit department. Her fiance is assistant professor of behavioral medicine and psychiatry at West Virginia University. The Rev. J. Harrell Harper officiated and music was furnished by Alice Eaddy, organist, and Mrs. Palti Hickman, soloist. The bride was given in marriage by her father. * » * BECKY BYRD of Morgantown was maid of honor and bridesmaid was Nancy Slusser of South Charleston. Buffy Lin Beckett, niece of the bride, was the flow- ergirl. David Trent of Logan was best man and ushers were Dr. D. Penn Moody of Charlotte, N.C., brother of the bride, Scotty Mosses of Huntington and Dwight Rothrock of Charleston. The couple left for a trip to Virginia Beach, Va., after a reception in the Henry Ruffner Room of the church. THE BRIDE, employed by the law firm of Cunningham, Sparacino and Byron of Beckley, attended West Virginia University where she belonged to Chi Omega Sorority. She also attended Garnet Career Center. They will reside in Wayne. Pa. SHE GRADUATED from Hollon Arms School in Belhesda. Md.. attended the American School in Switzerland and graduated from the University of Denver. A prominent West Virginia golfer, she won the state women's amateur title in 1971. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. George Arthur Mohler of Beckley and the late Mr. Mohler. and the late Mr. and Mrs Edgar M. Tutwiler of Mount Hope. MRS. C. B. KUGLER IV . . . former Lino Mohler Her husband graduated from Peddie School in Highstown. N.J., and Denison University in Granville. Ohio. He has a master's degree in mass communications from the University of Denver and served as a captain with the Army in Vietnam. He is associated with the U.S. Department of Labor in Philadelphia. His, grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Weston Osbeiston of Sydney. Australia, and Clarence B. Kugler Jr. of Philadelphia and the late Mrs. Kugler.
