A granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Cadle of Leon, the bride-elect is a member of Student Nurses of Wesleyan and is subscription manager of the school newspaper, Pharos. Her father is a chemical operator with Union Carbide. The prospective bridegroom is president of Delta Mu Delta national business honorary fraternity and is business manager of Pharos. His father is a building, contractor in Greensburg and his grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Alf Loughner of Greensburg. Stone-Birckhead Mr. and Mrs. Ross E. Stone of Nitro have announced the engagement of their d a u g h t e r , Kathryn Rose, to David Roland KATHRYN STONE Birckhead. son of Dr. and Mrs. R. S. Birckhead of Gauley Bridge. Bridal plans are incomplete. The bride-elect graduated from Nitro High School and is a junior majoring in social studies at West Virginia Institute o' Technology. Miss Stone is the granddaughter of Mrs. Odessa Casto of Hometown, Mrs. Mae Harris of Nitro and Walter J. Harris of Hometown. Mrs. R. M. George Lovelace will officiate. Miss Coe graduated from Richwood High School and is a secretarial science major at West Virginia Institute of Technology. She is a member of Delta Zeta Sorority.
