Peter's Methodist Church m St. AJtoaos was the selling Saturday afternoon for the marriage of Miss Linda Joyce Pauley. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene T. Pauley of Si. Aibans. and Richard Ray Covert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eivin Covert of Madison. The Rev. William Deel officiated and Mrs. Joann Hensley was the organist. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Ginny Tissue and bridesmaids were Patricia Pauley and Jeanette Pauley, sisters of the bride, all of St. Aibans. Wed 50 Years Open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on June 30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley R. Lawrence Sr. of Ginco to honor them on their 50th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Lawrence, the former Estelle Moore, a native of Wetzel County, met her husband, also a Wetzel native, in Clay County. They have lived at Cinco since 1949. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence are the parents of 15 liv- . ing children: Mrs. Ruby Combs, Mrs. Frances Messenger, Donald, Bradley Jr., Ralph, Leonard and Larry, all living in other states; Carl of Elkview, Mrs. Eva Pierson of Clendenin, Paul of Nitro, Mrs. Emily Smith, Mrs. Ruth Simmons and Mrs. Rebecca Young of Charleston, Mrs. Mary Pugh and Mrs. Linda Smith of Sissonville. They have 39 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Miss Sparacino's Nuptial Announced BECKLEY-In a candlelight ceremony performed at St. Francis de Sales Church here Friday, Miss Catherine Grace Sparacino became the bride of Dr. Julian Lewis Webb. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony J. Sparacino of Beckley and his parents are Mr. and Mrs. Julian Lewis Webb of Pearisburg, Va. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. J. R. Robertson of Charleston and the late Mr. Robertson. The bridegroom's grandparents are Mrs. Frank B. Miller of Pearisburg and the late Mr. Miller. With the Rev. Thomas L. Kerrigan officiating, nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Jane McCarton, of Rockville, - Md., on organ, and soloist was Michael Sparacino of Washington, D. C., cousin of the bride. Maid of honor was Miss : Elsa Negron of Staunton, Va., and bridesmaids included Miss Paula Jo Hambric, Miss Sherry Sue Miles, Miss Nancy ;Johnson, Shoemaker, Miss Nancy Rafaela and Andrea Catherine Rodriguez, all of ' Beckley and Miss Diane Lynn Spangler of Tampa, Fla. They will reside in Madison at 461 Second St. The bride is a graduate of St. Aibans High School and has an A. B. degree in art education from Marshall University. She is employed by the Boone County Board of Education. Her husband, a graduate of Scott High School, has an A. B. degree in speech and drama from West Liberty State College and is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and Alpha Psi Omega dramatic honorary. He also is employed by the Boone County Board of Education. Church ia St Albus was the setting Friday for the marriage of Hiss DOJWU Lane Hoboes, daujjbter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Stephens Sr. of Tornado to Gary Wayne Ro- faittson. His parents are Mrs. Marie Davis of Httrricaae a*d William Fraaeis Robinson of Beicaoct. The Rev. Jackie Clark performed the candlelight ceremony aad the bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Christa Jo Downey of Tornado was maid of honor. The father of the bridegroom served as best man and ushers included John F. Stephens Jr., brother of the bride, and Darrell Wayne Alford, her brother-in-law. The reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church. ^ Mrs. Robinson graduated from St. Aibans High School and her husband served in the U. S. Army.
