In today's Fayette Boy Wins Skill Test RED STAR-John Bloxton, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bloxton of Red Star, Fayette County, is one of three West Virginia youths who were winners in the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America U. S. Skill Olympics in San Antonio, Tex. The other two winners -were Rodney Merchant of Berkeley County and Paul Ours of Buckhannon. Bloxton obtained the highest scholastic record this year in his junior class at Mount Hope High. At San Antonio, he built a six-foot wing wall with a door and set of steps to win first place in the carpentry division.
