Danner, president of the Nashville, Tenn., based chain with · West Virginia division and Charleston offices. Alex Schoenbaum, chairman of the chain, maintains offices here. A total of 77 new plants and 22 plant expansions got under way during the first six months of the year along lines of the Norfolk and Western Railway, Including one new facility in West Virginia, the company reports. Virginia led with a total of 32 new and expanded facilities, followed next by Illinois with 13, says J. E. Savely, assistant vice president in the industrial real estate department. Total plant investments come to $54.8 million for this year's period compared with $32.6 million for a similar period last year.
