14E--August 13, 1972 Sunday Gazette-Mail Deborah Lynn Young Is Bride Charlestonians Off on Late Summer Journeys In a Friday evening ceremony ai Mountain Mission Chapel. Miss Deborah Lynn Young became the bride of Terry Wayne Hudson. The Rev. Charles Swigger officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Young of 26th Street. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Road. Hudson of Atlas GIVEN IN marriage by her father, the bride wore a "floor- length gown of polyester lace over satin designed with an empire bodice, high neckline, and long sheer sleeves. The three-tiered chapel veil was held to a petal-shaped headpiece accented with pearls. She carried a nosegay of while carnations and pink ba- bys breath. FOLLOWING A reception in the activities building of the church, the couple left for a wedding trip through West Virginia. They will reside at 1319% Red Oak St. Mrs. Hudson was graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and is employed by the CP Telphone Co. Her husband, a graduate of George Washington -High School, is employed by Appalachian Tire Co. Charlestonians cruising last month in the Virgin Islands visited Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Ambrose. Ambrose is a former attorney in Charleston who became government secretary of the Virgin Islands. He is president-elect of International Rotary and will become its first black president next year. His wife Irene, a former Huntington teacher, is now retired from a teaching position in the islands. On the cruise to Curacao, La Guaria, Caracas, Trinidad, Martinique, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico were Alice Clark Mary Cook, Edna Edwards, Mildred Gallion, Dorothy Hubbard, Susie Johnson, Thelma McDaniel, Dora Mickey, Josephine Rayford, Helmar Washington, Dr. and Mrs. A. L. Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Maceo Nelson. Also along was Miss Alice Diamond and her sister, Gretchen Tuck.
