New Father Dies In Trailer Fire WAYNESBURG, P a .-MV-A 26-year-old man whose wife gave birth to their first child Friday perished Saturday in a fire that destroyed the couple's mobile home, coroner's officials said. Authorities said the victim, Richard D. Morris of Waynesburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. Greene County Memorial Hospital officials would not comment on the condition of Morris' wife, Patricia, nor that of their infant son. S. bomb- iing raids, had thwarted Hanoi's Jplan to strike from Cambodia across the Plain of Reeds into South Vietnam's Mekong Delta | close to Saigon. ENEMY FORCES nevertheless were on the attack from Quang Tri in the north to Ben Tre, 40 miles southwest of Saigon. In 24 hours they initiated 88 separate attacks, the Saigon com' mand reported. Waves of enemy infantrymen f l u n g themselves at a South Vietnamese army outpost near Duy Xuyen, a district town, in the biggest reported attack. The outpost is 15 miles south of Da Vang, from which the last U. S. i n f a n t r y battalion in Vietnam withdrew Saturday. The U. S. Command reported B52 Stratofortresses flew 130 strikes and dropped more than 3,000 tons of bombs on enemy supply caches, staging areas and troop concentrations in North and South Vietnam in the 24 hours ended at noon Saturday. In addition, smaller U. S. jets flew more than 200 tactical air strikes against North Vietnam and 280 against the enemy in the South. There were 33 B52 strikes concentrated around the North Vietnamese town of Dong Hoi, just above the demilitarized zone and the rest were scattered in all our military regions of South Vietnam..
