Laurence LucHnbill stars as government agent Glenn Gregory who relies on his photographic memory to slip in and out of tight spots. 9 p.m. ABC. |BO MASTERPIECE T H E A TER. "The Last of the Mohicans." No. 1 (Repeat). In case you missed it last winter, this eight-part BBC adaptation of James Fenimore Cooper's classic adventure involving the British forces during the French and Indian War, opens on an appropriately introductory note. The first person we hear from, is a Scottish officer bemoaning the fact that his daughter and the real "war are in Europe and not in the American wilderness--a fact and an accent which immediately set the stage for the legitimacy of a British cast performing an American story. Once won over oil that score, we meet various characters who will become central to the conflict most of whom won't quite shape up as personalities until episode No.' 2 unfolds dramatically next week. 9 p.m. ETV. Q P BOLD ONES. "Panther in a Cage." (Repeat). Powerful drama. Retained to defend a Black Panther accused of killing a cop, our attorney heroes find themselves face-to-face with recent headlines. The young Panther is uncooperative, and tries to upset the courtroom and use it as. a political stage, but we stick with him because he is, apparently, innocent. This well-written play is not intended to alter our views, but it does provide us with an absorbing hour and a clever plot twist near the finale. 10 p.m. NBC 8QQD(BfB FOR YOUR INSURANCE NEEDS JHNUPFOm 24917TMVE.CMRLESTMI 342-7371 August 7 MORNING TV Movies Sunday "No Man Is An Island," (1962) **%, i p.m., O with Jeff Hunter and Marshall Thompson.
