"Leech Woman" 1:OOO Rock Concert ® Network News "CHARRO!" (1969) ", 9 p. m., O © © © 3D No, this is not the biography of Xavier Cugar's wife. Elvis Presley takes to the saddle in this Western, which casts him as a one-time outlaw who decides to go straight, but hrs former cronies won't let it happen. Ina Balin is awful as a saloon hostess who takes to Elvis, and Elvis runs her a close second. Incidentally, Elvis hasn't made a film since, if you don't count those two movies that were filmed documentaries of his concerts. "THIS IS MY AFFAIR," (1937) ***. 11:30 p.m., O with Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor. Fairly colorful fiction about a secret service agent sent out by President M c K i n l e y to break up a gang of bank robbers. Well produced and exciting. B* "THAT KIND OF WOMAN," (1959) **, 11:30 p.m.. O with Sophia Loren and Tab Hunter. Fans ol Sophia Loren will particularly appreciate this romantic yarn, which was among the first films made in his country by the glamorous Italian star. The tale about a beautiful woman who makes an attempt to find true love with a young soldier adds up to glossy soap opera for the ladies. f- "THE VIKINGS," (1958) **Vz. 11:30 p.m., CD with Kirk Douglas and Janet Leigh. The battle se- quences are the highlights of the film, which tells the story of the Vikings' invasion on England. On location photography in Norway is another plus factor. "MOTHER WORE TIGHTS," (1947) ***, 1:45 a.m., B with Betty Grable and Dan Dailey. Entertaining show biz cavalcade about a girl who marries and becomes part of a song-and-dance act. More plausible than the usual backstage musical: good cast, nice songs. "THE LEECH WOMAN," (I960) **, 2 a.m., 53 with Coleen Gray and Grant Williams. Scientist's wife discovers the secret of perpetual youth and begins to bump off unsuspecting males for their hormones. "TOBRUK," (1967)**, 3:15 a.m.. O with Rock Hudson and George Peppard. Routine World War II adventure w i t h Rock Hudson and George Peppard cast as the ready heroes assigned to destroy Rommel's fuel supply at Tobruk. The production is well mounted but you've seen it dozens of times before. »· "IF I HAD A MILLION," (1932) ***'/z. 4 : 4 5 a.m.. O w i t h W.C. Fields and George Raft.
