April 4.--One hundred and sixty couples from Connellsville, Uniontown, Pittsburg, Greensburg, Latrobe. Jeannetle. .Mount Pleasant and this place attended an Easter promenade given in the Reid hall on Tuesday evening. The committee in charge was Robert Allen Fred Collins. Joseph Males, J o h n ' Bloom and Meyer Morris. The St.' Clair orchestra furnished the music. I Patriotic decorations were carried out even to the program which had some patriotic quotation under each, dance number. Robert Allen presented to j the guests of the dance a community j service flag in behalf of the toys of ' Scottdaie who are at the front and in ] camp. The flag has 217 stars. The flag was unfurled by Miss Hazel Kelly, who made it. and Miss Florence Rutherford. John J. Finnerty ' accepted the flag for the community.
