It looks to me like they were herded into that room.and then slaughtered Investigators said they assumed the crime began as a robbery, but they were unable to determine what was taken. Fatally shot Friday night were Paul M. Corbett, 67, retired insurance executive; his wife, Marion, 57; her daughter by a previous marriage, Barbara Boand, 22; and Mrs. Corbett's sister, Dorothy Derry, also of Harrington Hills. The Corbett home is in a wooded area of the community of estates and expensive homes where family income ranks among the highest in the Chicago area. The second floor of the house was ransacked, police said, but he first floor was hardly touched. The victims, dressed in casual clothes, were found by Anthony 3oand, 24, a brother of Miss Boand. He said he entered the house through the opened front door at about 9:45 p.m. and found his aunt and sister dead and his mother and stepfather mortally wounded. Police later found four extended shells from a .25-caliber automatic handgun and one shell from a .30-caliber carbine.
