"LEFT-HANDED GUN," (1958) ***i/ 2 , 11:30 p. m., ffl with Paul Newman and Lita Milan. An underrated film which tells the story of the West's legendary desperado, Billy-the-Kid. .Newman, as Billy, is superb. This screenplay sheds some light on Billy's reasons for his infamy and treats the Pat Garrett- Billy friendship with insight. Plumbing-Heating Air Conditioning Commercial , Residential 342-0521 Question Box Q. -- Of all the various talk shows, I vote for Geraldo Rivera's late night "Goodnight America" specials. They are informative, and Geraldo is an expert host. I would like to know if Geraldo will have more shows on this year and what the possibilities are of "Goodnight America" becoming a nightly show. - A.V., Memphis, Tenn, A. -- Geraldo Rivera's interesting "Goodnight America" series is certainly one of the better 90-minute shows presented as part of ABC's "Wide World of Entertainment" series. The perceptive newsman-host will have at least 20 more shows this year, and, it is hoped, as many next season. You may address your compliments to Rivera, care of ABC-TV, 77 West 66 Street New York, N.Y. Q. -- I think Karl Maiden is great. Is he married and does he have kids? He may not be Burt Reynolds, but I think he's wonderful. -- R.R., Fort Wayne, Ind. , A. -- Karl Maiden and his wife of many years, Mona, live in West Los Angeles, Calif. They have two daughters, Carla, 20, and Mila, 25, who is married. Maiden won an Os- car for his best supporting actor performance in "A Streetcar Named Desire." Q. -- Are the two recording groups, The Who and Guess Who, the same? If so, what was their first name and which one are they currently using? -- F.N., Memphis, Tenn. A. -- The Who and Guess Who are two distinctively different groups. The Guess Who is a Canadian group with many hits of the top disk charts. The Who is the British group, who came up with the successfual rock op^ era titled "Tommy," which is currently being filmed with them and a cast including Ann-Margret.
