Brov/n of Warrenton, Va., has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Kapfer from Tema. Miss K a p f e r g r a d u a t e d f r o m R a v e n s w o o d High School and is a junior at West Virginia University. Her fiance is a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School in Clendenin. A candidate for a B.S. degree, he will be commissioned as second lieutenant in the Air Force at WVU in August. Terry-Maddux HURRICANE - Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Terry of Hurricane are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Diana Kay. to Everett Alan Maddox. son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Maddox of Scott Depot. The wedding will take place on Aug. 29 in Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Miss Terry will graduate this month from Hurricane High School. Her fiance, a graduate of Winfield High School, is employed by Union Carbide, Corp. Hotheh-Hopkins Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Sothen of Pennsylvania Avenue are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca, to James K. Hopkins, son of Mrs. Cleo Hopkins of Lerona, and the late Mr. Lowell B. Hopkins. The wedding will take place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 17 in the Boyd Memorial Christian Church. Miss Sothen is a graduate of Stonewall J a c k s o n High School and is employed by the West Virginia Board of Regents. Her fiance attended Concord College and is employed by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co. Young-YannoY The Rev. and Mrs. Henry S. Young of Rt. 5 are announcing the e n g a g e m e n t of t h e i r daughter, Coleen Anne, to Robert 0. Vannoy, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Vannoy of Fourth Avenue. The open-church wedding will take place at 7:30 p.m. on July 5 in the Davis Chapel Baptist Church. Miss Young is a senior early childhood education major at West Virginia State College. She is employed by the Kanawha County Board of Educa- tioh. Her fiance attended Greenbrier Military School and West Virginia Institute of Technology. He is employed by his father. Hogan-Barker MORGANTOWN - Mr. and Mrs. William S. Hogan of Morgantown have announced the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sandra Lou, to Douglas Wayne Barker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darris S. Barker of Dunbar. ' The wedding will take place at 1:30 p.m. July 27 at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church here.
