Scene from "The Kopykats" at 9:30 p.m., July 19 on ABC-TY Paul Nuchims Author James David Barber, a former Charlestonian, will discuss his book "The Presidential Character" on "The Paul Nuchims Show," Thursday at 10 p.m. on WMUL-TV. Barber's book, published in June, is an attempt to analyze the characters of 20th century presidents and to show how their characters and personalities affected their presidential decision-making. Barber is currently chairman of the political science department at Duke University. Nuchiras' other guests will be William Watson, new chairman of the West Virginia state Democratic party; and Tom Potter, chairman of the state Republican party. "The Paul N u c h i m s Show," shown three times a month, is produced by the Urban Affairs Center of West Virginia State College and WMUL-TV. The program is funded in part by Title I of the Higher Education Act of 1965.
