On Tuesday, April 7, 1998 at the Humber River Regional Hospital Church Street Site, Toronto. Born in Edmonton, AL, on December 19, 1915.

Brought up in Petrolia, ON, where he attended Public and High Schools. Subsequently entered University College, University of Toronto and graduated in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Began employment immediately with Equifax Canada Ltd. Toronto, Confidential Reports and was posted to Timmins, a one-man office where he stayed until enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1942. After training, and a year on the West Coast as an Investigating Officer with Pacific Commands Signals, went overseas in late 1943 joining Second Canadian Armoured Brigade Headquarters.

Within days joined Sherbrooke Fusiliere Regiment, one of the Brigade's three Tank Regiments as Regimental Signals Officer during the advance from Normandy to Germany. Spent the last few months on further transfer to a Heavy Wireless section at Second Canadian Division Headquarters before returning home. Was reemployed by Equifax, managing a 3-man office in Kitchener, ON, for about eight months, and resigned from Equifax to accept a position with Canadian Industries Ltd. as a Job Analyst in its Human Relations Dept. Moved on to Dupont of Canada upon its formation in 1953 with responsibilities for the new Company's recruitment and placement of technical, professional and ancillary salaried employees at its major office and manufacturing facilities and remained in this role with Dupont of Canada until retirement at age sixty-five.

outside interest other than business included Campus Journalism leading to Editor and Chief the University's daily newspaper during his final undergraduate year Chairman and Volunteer Support leading to of the board of Management. Downtown Branch of YMCA of Montreal (1970-1972). Regional Vice President (Quebec) of the National Council of YMCA's of Canada (1971-1975). In later life joined the world wide hobby of Radio Amateurs as VE30BS and is a past President of Skywide Radio Club Toronto. Predeceased by his first wife Margaret Elle Parks and his sister Marion Albright.

Survived by his sister Mrs. Helen Jackson of Toronto, his son Andrew and his wife Cynthia of New Denver, B.C., his daughter Janice and her husband Donald McDonagh of Athelstan, Quebec, his present wife Nell and her children Richard Pantin and his wife Debbie of St. John's, NFLD, Mrs. Gillian Courtice, ON, Mrs. Roslyn Mclean and her husband David of Niagara Falls, Ontario, his eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

At Montreal on April 30, 1998 at the age of eighty-two years, Wasyl Lenko, born in Tachernychivei, Ukraine, passed away peacefully in the presence of family. Olive May was the dear mother of Donald and Norman Darlow and Diana Olivier, grandmother of Michael Darlow and Donna and Stephanie Doskas. OBITUARY ROGER CHARBIN Roger Marc Charbin, eighty-seven, of 636 Clarke Avenue, Westmount, PQ died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 29 in the presence of his loving family and caregivers, the Payacda family.

He was born in Lyon, France on November 17, 1910 and attended the Ecole de Chimie. He served as Lieutenant in the French Army in World War II. He came to the United States in 1940 to establish subsidiaries of J.B. Martin Limited in America. He was Vice-President and General Manager of the company in Norwich, CT from 1955 1966.

He moved to Montreal in 1966 and served as President of La Societe J.B. Martin in Saint-Jean, PQ until his retirement in 1975. While living in Norwich, he served! on the Board of Directors of the Wm. Backus Hospital and the Board Hartford National Bank. He was active in Child Family Services and was a communicant at Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Norwich and the Paroisse Saint Leon in Westmount.

He was predeceased in 1988 by his beloved wife Simonne Lepoutre. He is survived by his sister Suzanne Lacroix, his six children, Genevieve (Cerf), Colette (d'Aubarede), Chantal (Devine), Sylvie, Jacques, and Laurence (Greenberg), eleven ROMAN, Shella (nee Fobin). Peacefully at home in Vancouver, B.C. on Friday. April 24, 1998, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She leaves to mourn her husband Mike and two sons, Michael and David, her sisters Joan, Dorothy (Ryan) and Nora (Steele), her brothers-in-law Steven, Paul and Bill. A family service will be held in Vancouver followed later by a private memorial service in Montreal for the immediate family and friends of Sheila.
