MacARTHUR, Kathleen "Kay" (Black). At the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, February 6, 1998. Kathleen "Kay" (Black) MacArthur of St. Thomas suddenly in her eighty-third year.

Born in Rathdrum, Ireland, September 30, 1915, daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (White) Black, she had lived in St. Thomas and area since 1975, and formerly in Union, Ottawa and London. Kay had served overseas in England with the Nursing Corp (R.C.A.M.C.) during the Second World War. She was also a Life Member of the Elgin Association for Community Living and a Member of the Nursing Sisters Association of Canada. Beloved wife of the late Norman G.

MacArthur (1989) and dearly loved mother of Malcolm "Mac" and his wife Maureen MacArthur, Ottawa; Ian MacArthur and his wife Karen Runnels, Montreal, Quebec; William MacArthur, Morin Heights, Quebec and Robert V. OBITUARY JAMES LAING DUDGEON Jimmy, who was born in 1909 in Portobello, Scotland, died peacefully at the Susan Woods Residence in Hudson, Quebec, the town where he had lived since 1946. He married his beloved wife Kay Dudgeon (Catherine Grubert) in 1936 and she predeceased him in 1981.

He, with Kay and others, established Pine Lake and the Pine Lake Association in 1949. He was also a long time member of Hudson Yacht Club, where he served on the board and as Commodore, was a golfing and curling member of Whitlock Golf and Country Club, and was a founding member of the Hudson Curling Club (now known as the Hudson Legion Curling Club). He was active in the initial fundraising effort which led to the construction of the Lakeshore General Hospital. He spent his entire working career with Bank of Nova Scotia in the Montreal area, last serving as Manager at their commercial branch on Cote de Liesse Road in Ville St. Laurent, Quebec.
