Publix An Advertising Supplement The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 5 In just 12 years since Publix arrived in metro Atlanta they've built a workforce of 21,000 potential owners. Even in some large communities, including Gwinnett County, Publix ranks among the top employers. Moore was part of the Publix advance team that moved to metro Atlanta from Florida in the year before the chain opened its stores here.
