TAYLOR-CLOWATER, Helen-Marie Christina (Dickson). Peacefully and in the loving company of many family members and friends, passed away after a brief illness at the Victoria General Hospital (B.C.) on August 14, 1995. Born on January 13, 1936 in St. Margarets, N.B. she was the daughter of Mary (Hackett) Dickson and the late Hazen Dickson.

A former mayor of the Village of Doaktown, New Brunswick, she gave generously of herself to many causes and organizations throughout her rich and productive life. She was a resident of Lachine, Quebec from 1958 to 1975; Riverview, N.B. from 1975 to 1977; Doaktown N.B. from 1977 to 1992, and Victoria, B.C. from 1992 until her untimely passing.

Known especially for her work on behalf of senior citizens, she was most recently a volunteer at the Victoria General Hospital. Besides her mother, she is survived and will be deeply missed bv her husband Ralph Clowater, two sons, Brent (Janice) Taylor and Bvron (Gail) Taylor, two grandchildren, Neil Taylor and Alexandria (Lexie) Taylor. She is also survived bv sisters, Jean (Fackler) of Calgary, Alberta, Marion (Stanley Bransfield) of Petitcodiac, N.B., Fave (Leland Gunn) of Newcastle N.B. and brothers Plen (Carol) of St. Margarets, N.B.

and John (Elaine) of Miramichi (Chathan) N.B. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband of thirty-two years, Eldon Alexander Taylor in 1988, by her father Hazen in 1990 and infant brother Norman in 1937. TESSIER DIT LAVIGNE, Guv. At St. Jean-sur-Richelieu, August 15, 1995 at the age of seventy-nine years. Mr. Guy Tessier dit Lavigne, husband of the late Jacqueline Blais.

IN MEMORIAM MAUREEN JUE On the 1 6th of August 1 994, Maureen Jue died, a very -premature death. At the moment of her death, Maureen was a city guide and co-president of the volunteer guides of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

She had also been a teacher and a guide to China and Russia. Maureen and I presented many slide lectures to various community organizations and senior citizen residences. I always insisted on the fact that her name was spelled Jue and not Jew, since Maureen was Chinese, however someone always asked Maureen if I were her mother. She answered with a smile "No she's my Maureen was the sister that I never had, she was my friend, she will always be in my heart.
