Small brown velvet flowers and a champagne colored fingertip veil formed the headdress, and a natural orchid was surrounded by pale yellow carnations in her colonial nosegay.

A quartet comprised of Mrs. clubs Elwood Kirk, Mr. and Mrs. Flavil Newhouse, all of Harlingen, and Bud Whitten of Raymondvtlle sung a cappella selections for the service. Miss Caryl Ann Hunt's vocal solo was "Sweetest Story Ever Baskets on the wedding scene were of salmon pink gladioli and orchid-colored stock with greenery.

The Ray McNabb home was the setting for the reception. The linen cutwork cloth on the serving table had a centerpiece of pink roses and bells of Ireland, and the two tiered decorated cake was crowned with a miniature bridal couple in a maline heart. Miss Caryl Ann Hunt served punch, and Miss Alta Jean Young presided over the cake service. At the book was Miss May Slene Layer of New Braunfels. Following a trip to Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Dallas, the newlyweds will live in Weslaco at 310 E.

The Rev. G. A Schultz, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated for tiie double-ring rites. John Thomas Woolam gave his i sister in marriage, and Henry played the wedding music, accompanying Ray Hugh. ston, Brownsville, who sang three I songs.

Mrs. Ethel Jones was her matron of honor, with Milton James White of Brownsville tending his brother as best man. Miss Katherine Ballenger and Miss Virginia Alewine were bridesmaids, and Robert Ft. Compere, Elsa, and Frank Boyce, Donna, I groomsmen, assisted the nephew, Vernon Eugene Hallbeck, her brother William B. Woolam, both of San Benito, and Sam Hun- gaker, Harlingen, In ushering.

The bride's gown of white Chantilly lace and satin was fashioned with scallops at the neckline and in the skirt which reached into a cathedral-length train. A lace cap held the fingertip veil, and white i roses were in a crescent in her bouquet. White tapers in candelabra burned in the background of the wedding scene which was decorated with white galdioli and stock three baskets and palms. The pastel shades of the gowns were repeated in the decorations on the three tiered wedding cake which was served during the reception in Stonewall Jackson hotel. Mrs. Ree.se presided over the punch bowl and Mrs. Catherine Wyatt served cake. Mrs. Erwin Reese kept the guest book.

Others in the houseparty were Mrs. Earl Tuber, Harlingen, Mis. Toni Lovett. Mrs Henry lett, Mrs A. Mrs.

Woolam and Mi Gene Hallbeck. After a week's visit in Monterrey, the newlyweds will make their home at 521 E. Tylei Mrs. gomg-away costume was a grey suit. Her navy blue straw hat was trimmed in white, and her accessories were navy blue.

She wore a corsage of white roses. Mrs White is a graduate of San Benito High school and Brownsville Junior college. A member of Bela Sigma sorority, she is secretary with the Dabney-Hall Insurance firm here. Mr White, an alumnus of Weslaco High school and Edinburg Junior college, is a graduate of University of Texas. Austin.

R. A. Dennison and Mrs. John Glaros as delegate and alternate, respectively to attend the State convention of garden clubs in El Paso May 10-13. During the talk on church flowers, arrangements made by club members were shown anti commented upon by Mrs.
