West End I nils Honor Stroudsburg The Slroud Township Fire company, Stroudsburg, were guests at an annual picnic given by the and from the West End Fire company at the Knights of Columbus grove, Constitution avenue. Stowe. The Whisk-niks and Bustle Belles are member of the Fire company who organized in 1985 for the Pottstown Sesquicentcn- nial program. Stroudsburg celebrated its Sesqui-centennial in the same year as Pottstown and the groups got together and visited the pj.naroma of both towns. They still gather once a year for a social affair, alternating as hosts each year.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rice were in charge of arrangements for the event in Stroudsburg. Mr. and Mrs.

Steven Surman and Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Egolf were general chairmen of the event. Each family took a picnic lunch and beverage was provided by the West End group Adult and games highlighted the affair. One hun dred members and guests were in attendance.
