John Mark Karr was en route from Thailand on Sunday, and more unusual clues to his life emerged even as he sipped champagne and munched prawns in a business- class seat aboard a Thai Airways from Bangkok. The three U.S. who accompanied him on the 15-hour took no extraordinary security measures, and Karr was not handcuffed.
