(UPI) unbeaten Wildcats raced to an easy 99-67 victory over previously unbeaten Seton Hall last night before an overflow crowd of 4,200 to chalk up their 12th victory. All-American candidate Hubie White sparked the Wildcats with a 30-point performance, hitting 13 of 20 attempts from the floor, as the Wildcats overwhelmed the slower Pirates.

White and sophomore George Leftwich, who had 22 points, paced Villanova to a 51-29 halftime lead. OLE AN, N.Y. (UPI) BobMc- Cully, 6-9 senior, scored a career high of 28 points to lead St. Bonaventure University to an easy 8568 victory over Belmont Abbey at the Olean Armory. McCully hit on 10 of 15 attempts from the field in pacing the Bonnies to their eighth triumph in 10 starts this season.

Miles Aiken, 6-6 sophomore, was next in scoring with 21 points for E3onnies. Belmont Abbey dropped its first game in seven starts with Bemie Brennan and Joe McDermott each tallying 17 points. The Bonnies shot 46 per cent from the field an I Belmont Abbey 35 per cent. (UPI) Rod Thom and Jimmy McCormick hit for 22 points each last night to lead five West Virginia players in double figures as it rolled over the century mark for the first time this season in posting a 101-79 win over Virginia Military. Tom Lowry had 13 points, Kenny Ward 11 and Gale Catlett 10 as West Virginia defeated the Key dets for the 29th consecutive time in a Southern Conference basketball game. Norm Halberstadt scored 28 points for VMI, 24 of them combing in the second half. Halberstadt got his points on 14 field goals. VMI took a brief 4-2 lead but the fast breaking Mountaineers reeled off 14 consecutive points to take a 16-4 lead and the Key- dets were never in the game after that.

Miami, trailing all through the first half and down 39-30 at intermission, finally tied the score at 49-49 and pulled away from there. McCoy snared 14 rebounds and scored 27 points, high for the game. Forward Charles Lee counted 25 for Rhode Island and forward David Ricereto had 15.

Streak Snapped CHICAGO (UPI) Marquette led all the way last night to whip DePaul, 75-68, and snap a 16 game Blue Demon home court winning streak. DePaul was last beaten on their home court in March 1960 by Dayton University. Ron Glasor and Dave Erickson teamed up to pace the Marquette win. Glasor got 21 points and Erickson picked up 18. M.

C. Thompson led the DePaul attack tieing for high game honors with 21. Teammate Dick Cook pumped in 19. Gannon Battles Belmont ERIE Gannon College goes in quest of its eighth straight triumph tonight when Belmont Abbey of Belmont, N.C. comes to town.

The tough Belmont team was unbeaten until last night when they bowed to St. Bonaventure, 85-68. Al McGuire, former player with the New York Knickerbockers, is head coach of Belmont Abbey. The leading scorer for Youngstown is Ron Allen, a freshman from Wampum, who is averaging nearly 15 points a game and is also the leading rebounder for the Penguins. leading scorer is Willie Alford, a freshman with a 14.9 per game average. The leading Knight rebounder is Al Lawson, freshman from Homestead, with 142 for a 15.8 per game average. Both Bob Chuey (Brownsville, Pa.) and Tony Pero (Meadville, Pa.) are scoring at nearly 10 points a game for Youngstown. Pero likely will team with Bill Wolf at guard and Chuey along with either Larry Galcik (Springdale, Tom Getch, or Jim Himmelwright (Greensburg, Pa.) will probably round out the starting five for Coach Dom Rosselli, depending on the condition of Allen.

Lawson is second highest scorer at 13.1 and then follows Jack Byrnes (Swissvale, Pa.) at 11.0, Jerry Lott (Pittsburgh) at 10.0, Jerry Bodnar (Sharon, Pa.) at 9.8 and Joe Gaeta at 9.0. Alford, Lawson, Byrnes, Lott and Gaeta are the likely starters.
