Carl II McConnell Ml yssterda for Boston. Goode has returned from the Huachaca Mountains where he spent the 4th. Just before leaving Friday for his outing. Mr. Goode was bitten a dog and his arm is quite badly swollen as a result.

Miss Bagby spent two days with a camping party in the Huachucas. Frank Moson of Hereford spent two days hi the Huachucas with friends and was in Bisbee yesterday William Deane left Sunday for Boston. Mrs. W. B.

Cleary and children, ac companied by Mr. J. K. Shoemaker left yesterday for New York where i they will visit during the summer and Mrs. Cleary will place her son in school.

The Theatre Royal was packed to the doors last evening, the S. R. O. sign being hung out early in the evening. The program was an unusually good one.

One picture in particular, entitled "The Hoosier Fighter" received round after round of applause. If the actors in this picture could have responded to the encores they would have been obliged to appear before the curtain a number of times. The other pictures were away above the average and the illustrated songs as rendered by Mrs. Chas. Means were good.

The program as a whole is easily the best ever shown Bisbee. The same program will be on tonight and tomorrow. FOUR DRUNKS. Notwithstanding that the justice courts of the city had not been in session for two days when the usual morning session held yesterday, thrre were only two prisoners in each court who were charged with having disturbed the peace through having tried to put on too strenuous a celebration of the Fourth. Justice Hogan and Justice Burdick each had mo cases.

Quite a number of Bisbee people re turned Stmday and yesterday from Nogales where the? attended the Fourth celebration. A great crowd attended the demonstration and the cowboys' dance on Friday night brought punchers in from all over the southern part of the territory and the state of Sonora in Mexico. Governor Kibbey was the speaker on the Fourth.

The governor received quite an ovation. He returned to Phoenix on Saturday evening. RUBES WERE WINNERS. The Bisbee Rubes trimmed the Douglas Stars on Sunday The Rubes had on their batting clothes and banged Armstrong, the boy wonder pitcher of the Smelter City, to all parts of the field. The bombardment was so fierce it drowned the din of the cannon crackers which were iiop ping about the grounds.
