Mr. Williams was born in Marion County on May 12, 1920 and was the son of the late Etta Lowe Williams and Turner Nelson Williams, Sr.

He was a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post 191, a retired farmer, operator of the Williams Insurance Agency, a World War II Veteran, and a Board Member of the Georgia Milk Producers Association. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Winifred Greene Williams. Dorothy Gilreath Reeves of Atlanta, died February 24, 2002. A native of Westminster, S.C., she was the widow of Morris Tillman Reeves, and is survived by her two daughters, Betty Sutton and Mary Ann Reeves-Dilworth; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was a charter member and an active member of the Wieuca Road Baptist Church, and served as secretary to Dr. J.T.

POTTER 005167441 MARY ELIZABETH POTTER Beloved by all who met her, Mary Elizabeth Parker Potter, 80, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2002. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 27, 1921, the daughter of a steel company owner.

The youngest of five children, she was preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her four children: Marjorie Economopoulos, Ed Potter, Richard Potter and Irene Potter Bell; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Betty attended Carnegie Tech Institute and married Andy Potter during World War II. The couple moved to Pompano Beach, Florida, in 1956 where they raised their four children. Betty was an active member of her church and a devoted who juggled well the hectic schedules of her four children.

Throughout her life, Betty worked as an office manager in support services and pursued writing interests-publishing short stories, as well as some technical and professional pieces. She traveled widely with friends and family throughout the United States and other locations such as Canada, the Caribbean and Greek Islands. Betty moved to Woodstock, Georgia in 1999 to live in Atria Assisted Living Community, where she acquired many new friends. She remained active by taking college classes, traveling, becoming comuter literate, reading and writing, and attending local events with friends and family. Overcoming numerous physical challenges in her lifetime, Betty Potter was a woman of courage, wisdom and insight.

She will be remembered for her supportive and accepting personality and the manner in which those who entered her life were drawn to her compassion and warmth. Betty lived a rich, complete life. Having spent Sunday with her family at the circus in Phillips Arena, Betty believed she had done everything in life she needed to do. In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated. In celebration of the life of this remarkable and courageous woman, the family will receive friends Tuesday, February 26, 2002 from to at the home of her daughter, Dr.

LEREAH Joseph Lereah, formerly of the Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY and now of Tucker, GA died Sunday, February 24, 2002. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Majuri Lereah, and is survived by sister-in-law, Marie Lereah of Atlanta; nieces, Sara and Pierre Levy of Dunwoody; JoAnn Cohen, Marietta; Barbara Tepper, Charleston, SC and nephew, David and Alice Cohen, Dunwoody, as well as nieces Lucy and Elliot Levy, Marietta and Pearline and David Franco, Atlanta. He also leaves great nephew, Robert and Shari Foss, Waccabuc, NY and great niece, Vicky Silva Bailey, Spotswood, NJ. NE Atlanta, 30341, 770-451-4999. LELASHUS Sister Mary Peter O.P., (Adele Lelashus) Born November 10, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY to the former Mary Crouch and Anthony Lelashus. Sister was very proud of her Lithuanian background.

Sister entered the Hawthorne Dominicans in Hawthorne, NY on May 28, 1941. She professed first vows on September 14, 1942 and final vows on September 14, 1946. During the 60 years of her religious life, she served at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY from 1941 to 1943; at Sacred Heart Home in Philadelphia from 1943 to 1953; at Saint Home in New York City from 1953 to 1955; at Rosary Hill Home from 1955 to 1956; at Holy Family Home in Cleveland, from 1956 to 1972; at Our Lady of Good Council Home in Saint Paul, Minnesota from 1972 to 1978 and at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta from 1978 until her dealth on February 23, 2002. She held a LPN license as well as a Nursing Home License in several states. Even after she retired from active work, she still remained involved by visiting with the patients and doing other helpful tasks around the home.

She is survived by a loving niece, Sister Edith Hart of New York. Funeral Services will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at 10AM. Viewing will be in the chapel at the Home on Monday between 4 and 7PM. H.M. Patterson Son, Spring 1820 Spring St.

His passion and love for the outdoors was epitomized in his favorite places on this earth; Ichauway Plantation, Lakemont on Rabun and Breakaway Lodge, his ultimate resting place.
