HIGH TS this week SUNDAY Super Bowl Football: Miami vs. Washington, on Channels CD 0 and (D at 3:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., Channels QQ and will telecast the National Geographic Special: Strange Creatures of the Night. This special takes a look at the world of nocturnal creatures, including bats, salamanders, crickets, cave fish and owls. Many of the superstitions surrounding these creatures are examined and explored for accuracy.

Channel (3) will carry the special on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. "An hour-long film special from England in memory of Sir Winston Churchill will be broadcast on Channels 0 and (D at 8:00 p.m. Churchill The Man features Miss Sarah Churchill, who reminisces about her famous father and delves into the family history. MONDAY The Vin Scully Show makes it's weekday debut on Channel (3) at 4:00 p.m. The program, combining elements of conversation, variety and audience participation, will be taped in Hollywood with celebrity guests before a studio audience.

TUESDAY Here We Go Again, starring Larry Hagman and Diane Baker premieres on Channel at 9:00 p.m. The story concerns two second-time newlyweds who live in the same neighborhood with their ex-mates and their children. The Forbidden City, an "NBC Reports" program filmed in Peking by NBC News producer Lucy Jarvis, will be presented on Channel (5) at 10:00 p.m. The Forbidden City the gigantic fortress in Peking that housed emperors of China from 1421 to 1911 is visited and the Peking of yesterday is contrasted with life in that city today. A I 'I 1 I Diahann Corroll (left), host Perry Como and Connie Stevens sing a medley of Cole Porter songs in Cole Porter in Paris, to be televised on Channels OCD and CD on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m., and on Channel CD Wednesday at 10:00 p.m.

WEDNESDAY NHL Hockey: Pittsburgh at Montreal, on Channels 0(0 and (0 at 8:00 p.m. Highlights of Bob Hopes 1972 Christmas trip to entertain American servicemen in the Aleutians, Japan, Korea, Thailand, South Vietnam, Hong Kong and Guam will be televised on Channel (5) at 8:30 p.m. Hope's troupe of entertainers included Lola Falana, Redd Foxx, Fran Jeffries, Rudy Cardenas, and Les Brown and his Band of Renown. FRIDAY At 11:30 p.m., Channels (8) and t2D will present In Concert, featuring The Grand Funk Railroad, Freddy King and SATURDAY NHL Hockey: New York at St. Louis, on Channels (5) and (0 at 3:00 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m., Channel will present Maple Music, a showcase of Canadian recording talent in the folk, middle-of-the-road, and rock idioms, taped last summer at concerts in Montreal and Toronto before an audience of European music critics, journalists and broadcasters as part of an effort to promote the Canadian "sound" and Canadian artists, abroad. Performers are: Edward Bear, Gary Buck, Crowbar, Fergus, Fludd, Andre Gagnon, Christopher Kearney, Moe Koffman, Lighthouse, Murray McLaughlan, Anne Murray, Pepper Tree, The Poppy Family, The Stampeders, and Tapestry.
