This is in addition to Cable TV's regular service of bringing to subscribers, by direct wire connection from its master antenna, the out-of-town television stations on other channels. Cable TVs operations on channel 9, being conducted by closed-circuit, do not come under Federal regulations governing allocation of over-the-air channels such as used by CBC and CFCF-TV. "Our aim is to give our subscribers what present over-the-air channels cannot said Cable TV. President Dave Campbell.

Mr. Campbell said that eventually "some sponsorship might be accepted for our programs to cover production costs." "The field is quite unique.and limitless," he said." If we go in for major productions, we might charge a small additional weekly rate or we might even go in for pay-TV. That would be separate. We can block them out and make Channel 9 available only to subscribers who want it.

"You can't do this with an over-the-air channel. You can't confine its reception to a small area. We can because we reach households individually by wire. This will enable us to program for minority audiences and handle provocative, controversial programs that an over- Channel Chuckles 5.45 D.m.
