Abner P. Richard 43, a former pastor in Pittsburgh, died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, Mononga bela, Washington County. He was temporary supply pastor to the Fairhope First Presbyterian Church in Belle Vernon, Fayette County. At one time he served as pastor of the Arlington Heights Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of villle College, Marysville, and Western i a Seminary of Pittsburgh.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Caroline Murphy Richard; three sons, Abner Paul III, Frederick and Jacob Richard; one daughter, Carol Richard; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner P. Richard Sr.

of Norristown, Montgomery County; and one sister, Mrs. James Thompson of Norristown, The body is at the McCrory Funeral home, Fayette City, where the funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday. J. J.

JORDAN Jess James Jordan, 71, of 1209 Lawn died at 3-15 m. Wednesday at Connellsville State General Hospital. He was born Feb. 4, in Mount Braddock, a son of the late Joseph and Cora Bell Jordan, and was a retired coal miner and a World War I veteran. Surviving are his widow, Mrs.

Grace Haney Jordan; a son, James Jordan of Washington' g28 and Jednota Lodge No "l62 state; a daughter, Mrs. William Uniontown. (Rebecca) Overly of i Surviving are his widow, Mrs. nellsville; i stepson, Wyda Dzamba; a son, Haney at home; eight grand- a daughter, six grandchildren, children; a brother, ot; a brother and two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Ann) Knapp and Miss Mary Dzamba of Uniontown A brother, John, died in 1956 A prayer service will be held at 8.15 am Saturday at the DeCarlo funeral home, Union- followed by requiem there at 2 m.

B. E. Clifford of 107 Eas Crawford Ave. has received word of the death of her broth er, Charles G. Stiles Jr.

of Al bany, N. on Tuesday in the home of his son, George Stiles of Buffalo, N. Y. He had been ailing for several months He was born Dec. 31, 1898, in Connellsville, a son of the late Charles G.

and Mary J. Harry Stiles. Until his recent illness he was a real estate broker with offices in Albany, N. Y. During World War I he'served with the 130th Aero Squadron.

Surviving are two sons George of Buffalo and Commander Charles L. Stiles with the Naval Security Division in Washington, D. a daughter Mrs. W. C.

(Genevieve) Dickson of Schenectady, N. 13 grandchildren: two brothers Samuel J. Stiles of Bethpage. M. and George 0.

Stiles of Flushing, and two sisters, Mis. Elizabeth S. Dailey of Elmhurst, N. and Mrs. Clifford.

His wife, Alice, died 1955. Interment will be Saturday morning in Schenectady, N. Y. ANDREW DZAMBA Andrew Michael Dzamba, 61, of Uniontown, died at 8:15 am. Wednesday in i Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Uniontown and had been a lifelong resident of this area. He was employed by Robena Mines, and was a member of Local No. 6321, U.M.WA., the F. 0. Eagles Wisconsin, and two sisters, Mrs.

The collector, Anderson and Gilbert Associates, said the offices in the Mount Pleasant State Bank Building would be open from April 20 18.

Hours are from May a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays. A.

Dean Gilbert said expanded hours are to accommodate the Mount Pleasant Borough and Mount Pleasant Township taxpayers who have already, or will receive official notices to report to the earned income tax office and establish surrent tax status. About 1,000 certified letters have been mailed in the area. The letters direct the residents to report to the collection ottice within a specified period and clarify their tax status Failure to do so, according to the notice, will result in official action. Officials have explained to The Daily Courier that the basis for these notices is the "very thorough" cinsus recently com- sleted throughout the Mount Pleasant School District. The earned income tax officer las been directed to establish liability to every name listed by census enumeration in the areas of Mount Pleasant Borough, Mount Pleasant Township, Donegal Borough and Donegal Township, all part ot the school district.
