He has been in the U. S. Air Force for the past two years and is to be stationed in Texas after June 26. Her shell chaplain Are ta Guth; conductor, Both wore gardenia pink brocaded nylon-over-taffeta gown was of ballerina length and was styled with a sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves and lull skirl. Her headdress was similar to the bride's and she carried an arm bouquet ot pink and white rosebuds and white carnations tied with pink satin ribbon. Dale Newcomer, with the U. S. Navy at Pawtuckel River, served as his brother's best man.

Ushers were Howard G. Etling, brother-in-law of the bride, and Jack Boois. The bride's mother chose for the nuptials a. navy and white dress with navy accessories and the bridegroom's mother wore a navy print voile dress "with white accessories, corsages. After the ceremony a small reception was held at the bride's home with about fifty relatives and friends attending.

A buffet lunch was served and was featured with a three-tier wedding cake. The latter delicacy was cut and served the guests in napkins which were embossed la silver ''Joan and Wayne--June 8, 1952." For her wedding trip to New York and Niagara Falls the bride selected a navy gabardine suit with white accessories. She wore a corsage of pink rosebuds. The newlyweds expect to return here in about a week and will be at home in a newly furnished apartment in Freeman lane. Mrs.

Newcomer was graduated from Connellsville High School with Class of 1950 and is employed by the J. G. McCrory Company here. The bridegroom is an alumnus of Dunbar Township High School with Class of 1943. He served during World War II on the airplane carrier USS Tarawa, where he was a plane captain.

He also served six months' training in a cadet school at San Angelo Air Base. At present he is employed at the power house of the West Penn Power Company. AFTERNOON CIRCLE PLANS PICNIC AT KURTZ HOME Afternoon Circle of the First Methodist Church has discontinued its regular meetings until September. The session for Thursday has been cancelled. A picnic has been scheduled for June 26 at the home of Mrs.

The Daughters of and King's Daughters Bible classes of tho Trinity Lutheran Church will hold a picnic at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. T. C. Pitzer, 714 East Francis avenue. Husbands and friends may attend.

The convention is at Reading, July 1-2, Plans were also made for the unit's second anniversary to be held Sun-clay, June 22, in the form of a 6 o'clock covered-dish dinner. Members are invited and may bring their husbands and friends. Catherine Carson is chairman for the dinner arrangements. The next meeting will be 'ield at 8 o'clock June 17.

It was repoited eighteen members of the local unit attended the recent evangelistic services at Central Methodist Church.

At the close of the meeting delicious refreshments were served by the hostess, assisted by Mrs. Chorpennmg and Mrs. W. B. Downs.

Pitzer residence in East Fiancis avenue was an impressive installation of new officers, preceded by a delicious picnic supper. Class Plans July Outing Here Mrs. Walter Shaw was elected president of the J. O. C. Class of the First Methodist Church Tuesday evening.
