Private Shannon, a track vehicle repairman in headquarters detachment, was last stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. Before entering the Army in April 1953, he was a rigger for Westinghouse Electric Company, East Pittsburgh.

Dr. Hager Bible Speaker The llth monthly session of the Faith Bible Conference will be held Monday and Tuesday in the Flatwoods Baptist Church, along Route 711 between Vanderbilt and Route 51. The speaker will be Dr. Harry J. Hager, pastor of the Bethany Reformed Church of Chicago, 111.

S'he was born April 16, 1874, in Castel DeSangro, Italy, a daughter of the late Pelacito and Bernicia Sabella. Mrs. DeMott was a resident of Dunbar for the past 47 years.

She was a charter member of the Sons of Italy Lodge No. 833 and St. Aloysius R. C. Church of Dunbar.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Angeline Moriconi of Rockford, 111, Mrs. Ida Pantalone and Miss Lena DeMott of Ravenna, Ohio, and Mrs. Viola Petko of Dunbar; three sons, Frank and Albert of Dunbar and Charles of Connellsville; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, John Sabella of Barnesboro, and two sisters, Mrs. Antonetti Gismondi of Slovan and Mrs.

Monday at White Swan Hotel at Uniontown. The speaker will be Robert C. Gorham, P. and his subject will be "Affiliates and State Registration." Mr. Gorham is president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers and a member of the Pennsylvania State- Registration Board for Professional Engineers.

He is also professor of electrical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and is an active member of the A. I. E. having had considerable practical engineering experience. There will also be present a representative of the Pennsylvania State University Extension Service to discuss and explore the possibilities of refresher courses in Uniontown.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Jan. 23. --There was a good attendance at the annual donation day held by Frick Memorial Hospital Aid Society on Thursday afternoon. Donations were generous those from the first, second and third ward schools being received. Ramsay High School, that was having mid-semester tests, will have its donation day next week and the township schools will have donation day in February.

No report can be siven as yet of the amounts received as money and other articles are still coming in. A final report will be given later when all have been received and tabulated. The session was informal, With Mrs. Charles F. DePriest, Mrs.
