Gavron Officiates For Double Ring Nuptials The Rev.

William Gavron performed the 2 p.m. double ring nuptials Saturday, June 25, uniting in marriage JoAnn Hebda to Treglow Pritchard. The wedding was set at St. John the Baptist R. C.

Church, Scottdale. One hundred thirty guests attended. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis F.

Hebda of 636 Brown Everson. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Pritchard of 22 N. Chestnut Scottdale.

The altar was decorated with majestic daisies and white gladioluses with fern. The pews were marked with white bows. The bride and bridegroom presented each mother with a white rose. They also lighted a white candle at the altar. Serving as organist for the wedding was Mrs.

Pat Dreliszak of Scottdale. She presented "Evergreen," "Day By Day," "Sunrise, Sunset," "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet," "Weddirg Song" and "Traumerei and Romanza" before the mass. The traditional wedding march was played as -the bride was escorted to the "altar by her father. During the mass, Mrs. Dreliszak played "Take Our Bread" and "God Unlimited." At peacetime, the song chosen was "Song of "Immaculate Mary" was presented as the bride placed a bouquet of blue and white carnations at the altar of the Blessed Mother.

Joseph Dreliszak of Scottdale read the readings. Bride's Attire For her nuptials, the bride selected a floor-length gown of white Dacron organza with illusion neckline, bishop sleeves and full skirt. The skirt featured a deep ruffled flounce adorned with clingy lace that extended into an attached chapel-length tram. Her headpiece was a Juliet cap of clingy lace securing a mantilla edged with lace. She carried a bouquet of majestic MR.

AND MRS. TREGLOW PRITCHARD daisies and white carnations with fern and baby's breath. Maid of honor was Miss Mary Lou Hebda, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Misses Janet Hebda, sister of the bride, Charmane Pritchard of Scottdale, sister of the bridegroom, Kathy Taxacher of Everson, cousin of the bride, and Donna Guzy and Louann Czekaj, both of Mount Pleasant. They wore identical floor- length gowns of Qiana fashioned with V-neckline, long sleeves, high fitted bodice and flared skirt.

The neckline and bodice of the gowns were enhanced with lace. The sleeves were gathered and edged with lace at the wrists. The maid of honor's gown was yellow; the bridesmaids gowns mint green. Each wore matching floppy hats on their heads and carried matching bouquets of daisies with fern and baby's breath. Serving as best man was Dan Grabian of Mount Pleasant.

Ushers included Rege Hampshire of Connellsville, Bob Taxacher of Everson, cousins of the bride, Clark Pritchard of United Methodist Church Place Of Kerr Wedding Scottdale, brother of the bridegroom, and Doug Zucco and Tim Shipley, both of Scottdale. Mothers' Attire The bride's mother chose for the occasion a floor-length gown of sky blue polyester with V- neckline, full sleeves and A-line skirt. The gown featured sequins beneath the bustline and around the edge of the sleeves. To complete her attire, she wore a white gardenia corsage and silver accessories. The bridegroom's mother selected a floor-length gown of champagne ployester with macrame neckline, short capped sleeves and empire bodice.

She also wore a white gardenia corsage and diamond earrings to complement her attire. A 6 p.m. buffet-style supper was hosted by the parents of the bride after the wedding. The affair was set at Everson V.F.W. Two hundred fifty guests attended.

The Happy Gang of Greensburg provided music. The three-tiered wedding cake with two side cakes was made by Mrs. Charles Pravlik of Scottdale. Guest registrar was Miss Lisa Ann Hampshire of Connellsville, cousin of the bride. Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the bridegroom at Pogo's Restaurant, Scottdale, for 25 guests.

The bride was honored with a wedding shower given by the bridesmaids at Scottdale V.F.W. The newlyweds will reside at Connellsville, R. D. 1, upon returning from their honeymoon at Ocean City, Md. Both were graduated from Southmoreland High School with Class of 1975.

The bride also was graduated from Uniontown Beauty Academy with Class of 1976. She is employed by Paulett's Beauty Shop, Scottdale, as a licensed operator. The bridegroom is employed by Scottdale Machinery Co. as a machinist. Diane G.

Moore of 22 York Dunbar, and Richard Lester Kerr of Ohiopyle exchanged vows in a 3 p.m. ceremony Saturday, June 25, at Greenwood United Methodist Church, Connellsville. The Rev. William Hufford Jr. officiated in the presence of 100 guests.

Parent! The bride is a daughter of Grace D. Savage of York Street, Dunbar, and Gifford Moore of Eleventh Street. She was graduated from Connellsville Area High School with Class of 1972 and Fayette Institute of Commerce and Technology with Class of 1973, where she studied accounting. She is 'employed by Laurel Ford, Inc. Connellsville as a bookkeeper.

The bridegroom, son of Cora Kerr of Greenwood Heights and the late Edward L. Kerr, was from Uniontown High School with Class of He is employed by Dom Miller Roofing of Uniontown as a roofer. The church was decorated vases of multi-colored and candelabra. Organist for the wedding was Mrs. Naomi Black of Con- nellsville.

Soloist was Ken Metzgar. Mr. Metzgar sang "Cherish," "A Time For Us," "The Lord's Prayer" and "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing." Mrs. Black played the traditional wedding march as the bride approached the altar. Given in marriage by her brother, Donald E.

Moore, she appeared in a floor-length gown of white Qiana with horseshoe neckline, long tapered sleeves and natural waistline with full skirt flowing in a chapel-length sweep. The bodice and sleeves of the gown were adorned with venise lace appliques. The hemline and train were edged in venise lace. To complete the effect, she wore a Camelot cap on her head. The cap secured two tiers of silk illusion and one fingertip- length tier.

Her bouquet was a cascade of daisies and carnations with baby's breath. Attenuate Matron of honor was the bride's sister. Patty Carlton of Canandaigua, N.Y. Bridesmaid was Vicki Kerr of Connellsville, sister of the bridegroom. The matron of honor was attired in a floor-length gown of green and white eyelet organza Club News Mr.

and Mrs. Ellsworth Dunn of Vanderbilt, R. D. 1, entertained the Christian Stewards recently with a picnic dinner at their home. Otis Rittenhouse, president, welcomed members and presided at the business meeting.

Mr. Rittenhouse also gave the invocation. Roy Griffin reported the outing committee made arrangements for a dinner and tour of Linden Hall at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 23. Reservations were taken at the meeting.

Members not in attendance may make reservations by contacting Mr. Griffin. A thank you note was read from a multiple sclerosis club for the donation given by the group. It will be used to help purchase an air conditioner for one of the M.S. members.

Dorian Dickman gave the benediction prayer. People's Fellowship The regular monthly meeting of the Retired People's Fellowship was held recently at Trinity Lutheran Church with 109 members and three guests, Mrs. Thelma Jamison of Huntington Park, Mrs. Mary Budd and George Hoyle, present. Mrs.

Jules Schlinger gave the invocation. Mrs. Violet Kerns, president, gave the flag pledge and sang one verse of "America." Miss Mary Kocis accompanied her at the piano. Joseph Armen, program leader, introduced Paul Hammacker, tuba player, to the group. Mr.

Hammacker, winner of the Youth Solo Contest in the annual soloist composition for young people's concert sponsored by the Pittsburgh Symphony, played several selections. He was accompanied at the piano by James Hammacker. Mrs. Althea Ghost gave the secretary's report Mrs. Margaret Grace gave the treasurer's report.

"Happy Birthday" for June birthdays was sung to Mrs. Kerns, Miss Lelia Ringer, Bruce Miller, Mrs. Alberta Brothers, Mrs. Elsie Morgan, Mrs. Edith Haile and Mrs.

Edith Bitner. Miss Ringer, corresponding secretary, reported Mrs. Viola Jones is a patient at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D. C. Mrs.

Kerns introduced new members--Mrs. Margaret Vanorsdale, Mrs. Nellie Lamanna and Mrs. Lois Miller. Mrs.

Edna Rulli gave a report on the recent bus trip and picnic to Idlewild Park. Mrs. Joseph Armen and Mrs. Ruth Colborn were in charge of flower arrangements for the tables. Mrs.

Schlinger gave the closing prayer. Next meeting will be held Tuesday, July 28. Reservations must be made a week in advance by those planning to attend. Ferencuha, Brown United In Marriage with V-neckline and ruffled sleeves and hemline. The bridesmaid wore the same style gown only in baby blue and white.

Both wore flowered headbands and carried bouquets of multi-colored carnations with rainbow streamers. James Morrison of Ohiopyle, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, served as best man. John Turner of Chalk Hill and Donald E. Moore of Dunbar, brother of the bride, were ushers. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs.

Savage wore a floor-length gown of blue polyester knit with matching lace jacket, and corsage of pink carnations. Mrs. Kerr selected a floor- length gown of beige and brown polyester knit with corsage of white carnations. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church, hosted by Mr. and Mrs.

Alvin Savage. The wedding cake was three-tiered, made by Catherine Petrosky of Dunbar. After a wedding trip to New Stanton and Maryland, the couple is at home at 13A Greenwood Heights. For Your Information CRAMER REUNION The annual Cramer family reunion will be held Sunday at Mammoth Park, pavilion three. Dinner will be served at noon.

A meeting will follow at 2 p.m. MYERS-ZUFALL The annual reunion of the James S. Myers and John Zufall families will be held Sunday, July 17 at Mammoth Park, pavilion four, beginning at 1 p.m. Relatives and interested friends may attend. All are to bring basket lunches.

Coffee will be provided. HOSPITAL PATIENT Mrs. Elizabeth Wettgen Upton of Santa Ana, formerly of Scottdale and Connellsville, is a patient in Palm Harbor General Hospital, Garden Grove, Calif. Nancy Jo Ferencuha became the bnde of Marlyn Ray Brown Saturday, June 25 at Immaculate Conception R. C.

Church. Performing the 2 p.m double ring nuptial mass was the Rev. Roger Sinclair. One hundred twenty-five guests attended. The bride is a daughter of Mr and Mrs.

Joseph Kereneuha of 320 E. Crawford Ave. The bridegroom is a son of Arnold Brown of 316 E. Crawford Ave. and JoAnne Brown Meyers of Uniontown.

Altar Decorations On the altar were two vases of white gladioluses, apricot- tinted chrysanthemums and yellow-tinted carnations At the sides were two candelabra holding seven lighted tapers. White satin bows marked the pews. Rice packets were distributed to each guest by Stephanie Talone and Eddie and Mark Grubach, cousins of the bride. Mrs. John Taylor of Connellsville was organist and vocalist for the occasion.

Her nuptial repertoire included "Sunrise, Sunset," "And I Love You So" and "We've Only Just Begun," presented before the mass. As the bride approached the altar, Mrs. Taylor played "Wedding Processionale She presented "These Two," "Sabbath Prayer" and "On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother" during mass. Given in marriage by her grandfather, the bride appeared in a floor-length gown of Qiana knit fashioned with sweetheart neckline, empire bodice, bishop sleeves and a Watteau back which extended into a chapel-length train. The bodice and sleeves of the gown were adorned with seed pearls and Venise lace.

On her head she wore a waltz- length veil which fell from a Camelot cap trimmed in matching ceed pearls and venise lace. To complete her attire, she wore a diamond heart necklace, a gift from the bridegroom. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow sweetheart roses and miniature white carnations with stephanotis and ivy. Miss Shan Buhler of Connellsville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Miss Linda Zaksek of Poland, Ohio, cousin of the bride, Mrs.

Roger Brown of Uniontown, sister-in- law of the bridegroom, and Miss Cindy Nicholson of Connellsville. Angela Ferencuha, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Miss Angela Brown of Uniontown, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. The attendants were attired in floor-length halter gowns of polyester knit fashioned with pleated V-neckline and A-line skirt. The gowns also featured matching chiffon capes.

The maid of honor wore yellow; the bridesmaids apricot. The maid of honor also wore apricot- and yellow-tinted miniature carnations with baby's breath in her hair. She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow roses and miniature apricot-tinted carnations with stephanotis, baby's breath and apricot streamers. The bridesmaids wore identical flowers in their hair. Turkish Vodka Is Made from Beets NEW YORK (UPI) Most vodka is made from potatoes or grain. But in Turkey it is made from white beets, and the first brand of that type to reach the United States is currently going into stores nationwide. It's a clear beverage, 80 but there the resemblance to potato and grain spirits ends. MR. AND MRS. MARLYN BROWN The flower girl was attired in a floor-length gown of apricot and yellow print chiffon. She carried a white basket of apricot- and yellow-tinted pompons and wore matching flowers in her hair Groomsmen Roger Brown of Uniontown, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Duane and Mark Pearson of New Middletown, Ohio, cousins of the bride, and Larry Zahron of Uniontown.

John Zaksek of Poland, Ohio, cousin of the bride, was junior usher. Lawrence McCullough Jr. of Uniontown was ring bearer. For her daughter's nuptials, Mrs. Ferencuha selected a floor-length gown of mint green polyester knit with matching jacket.

She wore white accessories and a corsage of carnations tipped mint green to complete her attire. Mrs. Meyers chose a floor- length gown of aqua chiffon featuring a matching cape. Her accessories were beige. Her corsage was of aqua-tipped carnations.

To supplement the ceremony, a reception was held at Connellsville Township fire hall. Approximately 300 guests attended. Music was provided by Wo Three Plus One. Featured at the reception was a four-tiered fountain wedding cake trimmed with apricot and yellow rose clusters and topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom The cake was made by Mrs. Joseph Balaban of Connellsville.

On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the mother of the bridegroom at her home. Pre-nuptial events included a bridal shower at the Slovak Club hosted by the bridesmaids. The newlyweds are residing at 710 E. Crawford Ave. They will honeymoon in Keywest, Fla.
