The funeral will be held from the Kelchner Funeral Home, 77 North Main Street, Shickshinny, at 9 a. m. with mass og: requiem at 9:30 in St. Mary's Church, Mocanaqua, Rev. A.

Bruce Pekot, Nanticoke: Mrs. Salvatore Coppola, Haven: Paul and Ralph, at home; also six grandchildren. NATHAN FINKELSTEIN A former. Wilkes-Barre resident, Nathan Finkelstein, 95, died in Jerusalem, Israel, according to word received last night by son, Edward Wilkes-Barre. Born in Poland, Mr.

Finkelstein came to America as a child with parents, the late Abraham and Dora Finkelstein. For many years he conducted a furniture business under the 1 name of. Finkelstein and. Company at 188 South Washington Street. He retired 25 years ago and went to Israel to make his home.

Mr. Finkelstein was active in the local Jewish community while here and worked unceasingly toward the development of Israel. While here he was a member of Holche Yosher Synagogue and was one the original incorporators of the YMHA, forerunner of the Jewish Community Center. Surviving besides his son are three other children, Gussie, Mrs. Mollie Convissor and Lester, all of Newark, N.

also six dren and seven great dren. Edward Finkelstein visited his father in Israel a year ago, MRS. HELEN BUTLER Mrs. Helen Butler, rear 1.77 Vine Street, Plymouth, widow of Adam Butler, who died in May, 1950. passed away in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital yesterday afternoon at 4:30.

She was admitted to the hospital a week ago as a surgical patient. Mrs. Butler, a native of Poland, came to America 50 years ago and settled in Plymouth. She was a member of St. Mary's Nativity Church.

She is survived by five sons: John, Chester, Alexander, Stephen, all of Plymouth, and Leonard. Waterloo, N. two daughters, Mrs. Louis Amici, Forestville, and Mrs. Don Salamando, Naugatuck, also nine grandchildren, four, funeral will be held from the John V.

Morris Funeral Home, 24 Girard Avenue, Plymouth, on Tuesday at 8:30 with requiem mass at 9 in St. Mary's Church. Interment will be in the parish ceme-. tery, Plymouth Township. Friends may funeral home Sunday and Monday 5 and 7 to 10 p.

North Avenue, Elizabeth, N. J. a native of Nanticoke, died yesterday afternoon at Elizabeth General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Spears was born in Nanticoke, being a daughter of the late Edward and Josephine Brobst.

Her husband, Walter S. Spears, died in 1921. She resided in Wyoming Valley most of her life and lived in Newark several years before going to Elizabeth two years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Spears, at home: two sons. Melvin, Miami, and Sterling, Horseheads.

-N. two sisters, Mrs. Stewart, Philadelphia and Pearl Brobst, Bloomsburg; also four grandchildren. The funeral will be held from Hugh B. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, on Monday at 2.

Edward Stout, 18, Dies In Hospital Edward "Ned" Stout, 18, of Mountaintop, died this morning at 7:45 at Mercy Hospital. He was admitted March 25 as a medical patient. Born at Mountaintop, he was son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth mother being the former Devitt of Mountaintop.

A lifelong resident of the community, he was a graduate of Fairview High School, class of 1954. was State. He member St. employed as a forester by, the Catherine's Church, Mountaintop, and its Holy Name Society; also of the U. S.

Army Reserve. Also surviving are two brothers a sister, Kenneth, James and Marlene, all at home, and paternal grandfather, Halsey Mountaintop. 22 Years Serving the Public 1050 WYOMING FORTY FORT, PA. Telephone BU 8-2709 J. L. Reynolds Dies; Funeral On Monday The death of Joseph L. Reynolds, above, of Box 156, Main Road, Dunlast 5:40 in the Nanticoke, dee, Hanover, Township, occurred State Hospital.

He served 56 years in various positions with the Glen Alden Coal Co. Mr. Reynolds, 80, was admitted to the hospital Wednesday after being stricken ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Melvin Kammen, Summit. Mr.

Reynolds started his career as a boy in the old Coal Company, predecessor of the Glen Alden Company. His first job was oiling cars at -Storrs Colliery. Dickson City, where he eventually became assistant outside foreman. In 1906 'he was made foreman at Avondale Colliery, and in 1909 was given a similar post at the Truesdale Colliery. Seven later 'he became outside foreman at Loomis Colliery, He subsequentbecame a superintendent and served at the Pettebone, Woodward and Storrs Collieries.

He returned to Luzerne County in 1932. following a shutdown fore- in the Scranton area, to become man Loomis. Colliery. When he retired in 1945 he was outside foreman at Truesdale Colliery, he had held 10 years. Mr.

Reynolds was born in Brooklyn, Susquehanna County, being a the late Joseph L. and silence Rogers Reynolds, early residents of that area. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Nanticoke, its boar of trustees and official board and 1e John E. Thomas Bible Class. Surviving are his wife, the former Bessie Goss; children: Charles Stanley Reynolds, Wilkes-Barre; Joseph, Warrior Run; Kenneth, Bound Brook, N.

Mrs. F. G. Meyers, 81, Dies At Dallas Twp. Mrs.

Florence Galt Meyers, 81, died unexpectedly this morning at her home, The Maples, Upper Demunds Road, Dallas Township. The widow of William G. Meyers, former Woolworth executive who died in 1929, she had been in ill health for some time. Mrs. Meyers had resided Louisville, until 1919 when she and her husband moved back to Dallas and then purchased and developed The Maples.

She had resided there since She was a member of Warren Memorial Church, Louisville, and attended Shavertown Methodist Church. Her only survivors are several nieces and nephews in Louisville. The -funeral will be held from the Luther M. Knitten Funeral Home, 465 South Main Street, Monday afternoon at 2 with Rev. Dr.

George Bell, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Further services will be held Louisville with burial in the Cave' Hill Cemetery there. Mrs. Reeder Myers Private funeral services for Mrs. Reeder Myers of Benton were held this morning at her home.

Rev. John Hoover of Benton Methodist officiated. "Burial was in Benton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ted McHenry, James Hess, Err John Walsh, Halbert Shaw and Fred Greenley, the anthem. "Hohannah! He Cometh!" by Lynda Parker Loucks.

7:25 WilkesBarre General Hospital. He was admitted March 30 as a medical patient. Born in Catawissa, he was a son of the late Rev. Louis. and Emma Stroh Lindenstruth, his father having been a former pastor of St.

Paul's Lutheran Church. Wilkes- Barre, for 30 years. He graduate of MuhlenCollege and for years conducted a photograph finishing business prior to retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and its church council.

Surviving are a brother, Paul, East Orange, N. and two sisters, Mrs. Percy Harris, Kingston, and Mrs. Arnott L. Jones, Dallas.

The funeral will be held from the Luther M. Kniffen Funeral Home, 465 South Main Street, Monday afternoon at 3:15, Rev. Carl J. Schindler of St. John's Church officiating.
