Bom Dec. 19.1932, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late James J. and Catherine McDonough Connolly. Mr. Connolly was a member of Armco Country Club in Slippery Rock and Prestwick Country Club in Myrtle Beach.

Bunsy Deverts Reserve World War II veteran Clyde O. Bunsy Deverts, 74, died Monday. June Mr. Deverts was a World War II veteran and past president and lifetime member of die Spring Garden Volunteer Fire Department, past president of United Steelworkers local 7437. He was a member of the Elks Allegheny lodge 339, Bauerstown American Association of Retired Persons chapter 2439 and West View Veterans of Foreign Wars post 2754 He worked for Duquesne Mine Supply as a thread milling machine operator.

Warren 65, died Monday, June 17.1996, at Passavant Hospital, McCandless. Mr. Warren was a senior pharmaceutical salesman for Upjohn for 39 years, and his-sales territory encompassed the North Hills and Allegheny Valley. He retired in 1993. He was the recipient of the Upjohn Academy Award for top district salesperson in 1965.

'80, '84. '85, '88, '89 and 1991. He also received the William E. Upjohn Award, the corporation's highest award for top salesman nationwide in 1988. He was a member St.

Scott Lydick Marshall Dentist Dr. F. Scott Lydick, 50, died Sunday, June 16,1996, at his home. Dr. Lydick was a dentist for the Sears Family Dental Service.

A 1972 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he taught there for many years and was a lieutenant in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a coach for the North Allegheny Soccer Club. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Harter Lydick; a son, Nathan W. Lydick of Langhorn; two daughters, DeAnne Lydick and Sharian Lydick, at home; a brother, Arthur U. Lydick of Huntington, W.Va.; a sister, Martha L.

Doris Jeane Pace Hampton Golf club manager Doris Jeane Pace, 69, died Sunday, June 16, 1996, in St. Barnabas Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born May 7, 1927, in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Rose Agnes Nicotera and Michael DeGrattola.

Mrs. Pace moved to the Hampton area in 1985 from the Plum area, and prior to that lived in San Francisco, where she was employed for more than 17 years as. the office manager for the San Francisco Gotf Club. Survivors include her husband, Frank A. Pace whom she married April 30, 1949; two sons, Frank A.

Pace Jr. of Frederick, and Gregory M. Pace of Tracy, a daughter, Kimberly Fayad of Tracy, and six grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister. Marguerite Bennardo.

Survivors include many friends, including Elaine Vowinckel and William and Sue Niziol, all of South Hffls, and Paul F. of Sharpsburg. There wffl be no visitation.

Burial wffl be private. Arrangements were by the Worrell Funeral Home, Sharpsburg. Jacob Edward Bittner is the third child of Kimberly (Foreman) and Robert E. Bittner of Shaler. He was born April 24, 1996, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Excellence BBIAVOM William Purse, a resident of Ben Avon and assistant professor of, music at Duquesne University, was, awarded the Duquesne University President's Award for Excellence in Scholarship. developed a research' program emphasizing the Integra? tion of computing and music technology into instructional music settings at all levels of learning. He also developed one of the first music publications to contain an interactive disk of a musical instrument digital interface' sequences. Purse also is a member of the locat jazz band Catch Twenty-Two, which consists of four Duquesne University professors.
