DAILY NEWS, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30, 1935 Obituary FREDERICK S. DELLENBAUGH. Frederick S. Dellenbaugh, 81, noted artist and writer and one of the founders of the Explorers' Club, who had adventured in many far corners of the world, 'died of pneumonia yesterday at his home, 1 W. 67th St.

The aged explorer, who in his younger days went on The late F. S. expeditions to 'Dellenbaugh Alaska, Siberia, Iceland. Norway, the West Indies and South America, three years ago received the John Burroughs Medal for his book, Canyon Voyage," describing his work as a member of Major Powell's second expedition down the Colorado River in 1871. He had written many other books.

Surviving are his son, Frederick of Boston, and three grandchildren. JAY GOULD. With 125 relatives, friends and former employes attending, funeral services for Jay Gould, who died Saturday in Margaretville, N. were held yesterday at St. Thomas' Church, Fifth Ave.

E. BRUGLER. The Rev. Charles Edward Brugler, 69, rector of St. Peter's Protestant Episcopal Church, Port Chester, for twenty-three years before his retirement twelve years ago, died yesterday at Rye Lake, North Castle Township.

ADRIAN ISELIN. Adrian Iselin, 88, prominent banker and scion of an old New York family, died suddenly yesterday at his home, 820 Fifth Ave. His first wife was the former Louise Caylus, She died in 1909. Mrs. Sara Gracie Bronson, widow of the late Frederic Bronson and a daughter of the late Archibald Gracie King, was the second Mrs.

Iselin. Iselin was the brother of C. Oliver Iselin, yachtsman of New Rochelle. The Iselin family was long prominent in the affairs of this Westchester community. They spent at least $750,000 on New Rochelle Catholic churches and schools.

L. Jamaica Bereft of -weather friends and broke, William Jacobs, 57, died in a Bellevue Hospital charity ward Monday night from heart disease. When he entered the hospital on Jan. 12, Jacobs said he was unemployed and lived in a furnished room at 354 E. 19th St.
