Mike Tate, Lisa Debbie Jones And Mikah Adams Select Local 4 -H Youth To Attend Club Congress Debbie Jones and Mikah Adams have been selected to attend the 1974 4-H Club Congress in Chicago, from December 1-5. They are two of forty Illinois 4-H'ers selected- for this honor and will join 4-H'ers from all fifty states and Puerto Rico. Mikah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Nolan Adams DKHHIE JONKS of Belle Rive and is a member of the Belle Rive Prairie Wranglers 4-H Club. She is currently employed at the ML Vernon Credit Bureau. Mikah was selected to attend Gub Congress in Achievement, which includes her overall 4-H record. Mikah was active in agriculture as well as home economics projects and attended State Fair in' clothing. Her garment was sent to Fair in 1974 on construction.

Debbie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jones of Mt. Vernon. She is a freshman at the University of Illinois, Urbana.

Debbie was selected' to attend Club Congress in achievement. Her 4-H records are being.submitted for Competition in Public Speaking. Debbie will also receive a $50 U.S. Savings Bond from Union Oil Company of California. Turner.

R. Mestel of Koute 5. Mt. Vernon, and member of the Old Union Rams 4-H Club, has been selected as the Outstanding 4-H Boy of 1974. He received a plaque from Wabash P.C.A., presented by Jack Simmons, local P.C.A.

She has served as reporter and secretary of the county 4-H Federation and will be vice-president for the coming year. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

He has served as a junior leader of his 4-H club for the past five years. He has held several club offices and committee chairmanships.

In 1972. he was selected to attend State 4-H tion Camp held at Monticello. In 1973, he was named Key Club winner. David will graduate from the Mt. Vernon High School in Mav of 1975.
