"I fully expect another project," said Gov.

Lehman, "which will be approved promptly as part of the Federal public works program, will be the completion of the Tri-borough Bridge and its approaches. The Grand Central Parkway, when completed, will stretch from the Ridgewood section of Brooklyn to Wheatley Hills in Nassau County. Construction of the first Waramaug State Park in Connecticut gives the motorist out for a day's ride a jaunt he'll long remember. You go right, picking up Conn. 35 which brings you into Ridgefield. Turn right at monument on Main St, still with 35, and cross the State line onto N. Y. 123.

Go through South Salem, taking left JN. president. fork in town, then left at the end of the road on N. Y. 121 for Bed ford.

Go left with 121 into Cross River, with Cross River Reservoir on your right, and proceed to Bed ford. Bear right at triangular in tersection there onto 22, from which point you retrace your route to Valhalla and back over the Bronx River Parkway. Length of tour, 190 miles. Time, seven hours, including an hour for center, then left again at fork on th outskirts of the town. Still following 22, go right at the next fork and about a -mile farther on and left at the next intersection.

Continue through Katonah, Goldens Bridge, Purdys (watch the fork here and go left) and Croton Falls to Brewster. At fork toming into this town bear right, going under railroad and onto a fine new roadway which takes you right through Pawling to South Dover. Here you turn right onto a two-lane concrete road which ends at the Connecticut state line. You are now on Conn. 65 which is followed to Gaylordsville.

Go left at intersection there onto U. S. 7 which is followed through Kent to its intersection with Conn. 45. Turn right onto 45 and continue through Warren to the Lake.

Returning, continue on 45 to its Intersection with Conn. 25. Go left cnto 25, then right at fork onto Conn. 47 for Washington. At the town center of this picturesque community turn left and proceed to Woodbury.

Swing right onto U. S. 6 at the next intersection and follow this road through Southbury to Sandy Hook. U. S.

6 goes right there and you go with it, turning right at the next intersection with 6 in Newton, and on to Danbury. Turn left, at the first intersection there with 6, then right at the city center. Several blocks beyond, at small triangular park, swing left into Division then right into Park lunch.
