In May, the FBI received a tip from an unidentified "Unsolved Mysteries" viewer in Eugene, Ore- gon, who recognized Russell as a local roof installer named John Farrell. On June 4, the FBI arrived at a home under construction In Monroe, and placed Russell (AKA Farrell) under arrest. Russell later admitted to his true Identity.

Russell Is expected to return to Los Angeles, where he is charged with grand theft and Insurance fraud. Michael Anthony Starr: Wanted in Richmond, Va. for allegedly shooting a fast-food employee in the head, Starr was arrested on June 7 In Henrico County, Va. As profiled on "Unsolved Mysteries," on Aug. 10, 1992, two masked gunmen attempted to rob a closed fast-food restaurant in Richmond.

During the robbery, one of the gunmen shot the store manager, Mark Klavuhn, In the head at close range. Klavuhn survived the shooting, but was severely disabled as a result. Later, local authorities. identified the gunman as Starr, who was wanted on unrelated drug charges, weapons and parole violations, Following Starr's profile on "Unsolved Mysteries" in December 1992, a viewer recognized him and telephoned the Virginia Fugitive Task Force and provided them with the location where Starr could be found. Starr was captured by FBI agents and state and local law enforcement officials at a friend's residence In Henrico County and is currently being held in the Henrico County jail.
