The PSC approved the revised plan to eliminate the new Locust Manor station and a bridge at 120th Queens. This would result in a saving of about $1,087,000. The commission said the Long Island Rail Road was not justified in spending about $847,000 for the new station in view of recent disclosures the racetrack will be closed down in 1958. J. Little League Pitcher Hurls Perfect Game in WS Williamsport, Aug. 23 (JP). Fred Shapiro turned in the first perfect pitching1 performance in the 10-year history of the Little League World Series today and hurled Delaware Township, N. to a 2-0 victory over Colton, Calif.

The win moved Delaware Township into the final round of the series for the second straight year. It was beaten last year by Morrisville, in the final game. DELAWARE Township's opponent will be Roswell, N. which came from behind in its pame today to beat Winchester, 6-3. Winchester and Col A 6:45 P.M..
