The Shrew FRIEDA LNESCOIBT RADIO FLASHES Judging from the hundreds of requests received daily at WKBO, the popular hit tunes of the day as far as WKBO's Tea Time Tun ers are concerned "Twilight in Turkey," "The Merry Go 'Round Broke Down," "Blue Hawaii," "Cherry Blossom Lane," and Hoagy Carmichael's old faithful "Stardust" are in the lead. Never a day goes by without the tele nhone rineine with reauests for these popular numbers. It keeps the office force "on the go" the entire hour trying to take all these calls. In order to set aside a special time in which requests can be handled, the program manager has reserved every Thursday and Saturday afternoon as request programs.

On all other days the Tea Time Tune hour will be made un in advance and requests will not be played unless, of course, they are already on the schedule. 1 The Tamer EDWARD G.
