VICTIMAPPED IN WRECKED PLANE (Continued) tion board comprising Captains George R.

Dickens, Frank S. Gilles kie and Lieutenant G. E. DeCour sey, all pilots in the squadron. The ship was an observation plane.

Captain Dickens, one of the in' vestigating committee, said that the probe will not be completed until late today. The exact cause of the accident is still problematical, he said. The bodies, now at the Richardson undertaking parlors in Steelton, were sent to Philadelphia today. Coroner H. E.

Milliken said he had no official notice of the accident, expressed the belief that "the army authorities will handle the situation." Residents of Middletown said the plane flew unusually low before it struck the tree. They said it almost hit the top of a boiler factory, and was flying sideways at a pecu liar angle. The pilot was in the Pennsylvania National Guard three years. He was married and the father of two daughters, Marie, 19, and Ruth, 9. Dernoeden was unmarried.

He was graduated from Drexel Institute in 1930 as a chemical engineer. His parents, a brother and a sister, survive. A large crowd collected outside the high wire fence helpless so far as saving the victims was concerned. See Crash Middletown residents report the plane flying low over the town. Among those witnessing the crack up were: Dr.

H. H. Rhodes, his son, John Rhodes, John W. Pugh, Benjamin' Kech and David McLaughlin. They were playing golf on the depot links and concurred in saying that Sergeant Dernoeden tried to jump as the plane landed.

It was the fourth crash in four years in the vicinity of Middletown. In January, 1927, Major Harold Geiger, met death in his flaming ship just after taking off from Mid dletown. On January 11, 1929, Lieutenant Harry A. Angell and seven enlisted men were killed when a sister ship to the Question Mark crashed. John L.

Campion and three passengers were killed when their plane fell at Mt. Gretna March 25, 1929. THREATENS SUIT AGAINST CITY (Continued) 1 fice, May 6, 1924, he said. He has already brought the lot level up eighteen inches. In filling in the lot, to the established grade, Mr.

Mr. Green prefers a wall there to one on the vacant plot, which he regards as "a valuable piece of property." Councllmen, at the suggestion of Highway Commissioner H.

A. Sherk, inspected the paving project yesterday alter Mr. Green had voiced his complaint to council. Lynn B. Curry, Twenty fourth and Raleigh, who will, benefit most under the new profile, city, officials said, was present at the meeting.
